WRTL LAOTW #18 - Entering

Information:- Anyone can enter a screenshot
- If less than 5 screenshots are entered, the thread will remain open until the next week.
- Entries are capped at 10 each week. (to avoid having lots of entries at first and then less and less later)
- Be aware that entering also gives consent for the possibility of being featured in a LAOTW winners video on youtube. All credit is given to the creator of the artwork of course.

Rules:- It must be a screenshot of a version of Beta 2 or Beta 3
- No part of the screenshot must have ever been entered before (this includes on the old IRTL)
- You must have made at least part of the screenshot, and you must credit anyone else who took part in making it (e.g. credit the trackmaker of the track you're scening)
- You may only enter one screenshot per week
- It must NOT be edited, (even if the track is an editing track!) other than resizing, cropping, or "stitching" together parts of a track. If we don't believe you, we may ask for the .sol.
- Tweakwindow/Powermenu are STRICTLY against the rules. If we see anything that looks suspicious we will probably not give you the benefit of the doubt. (Advice: don't copy a picture in any way )
- You MUST PM Commandercoke your entry. Entries posted in this thread will be disqualified.
- Do NOT post that you have or will be entering. Entries are intended to be secret until voting begins.

I've been thinking about this pretty much lately and I think the rule with the trackmaker is pretty retarded. I mean, I once won a trophy for 2 minutes of work.
I made a stall and CC made an epic monument. Why would someone who made those 3 lines for a stall deserve a this trophy?

I was thinking about this too. I guess it might be a good idea to get rid of that rule...

Are you making that official, or just pondering?

It's a stupid rule in my mind as well -- it almost seems as if one person would take the credit for another's work, which is plagiarism.

i say get rid of the rule. the track itself isn't art the actual drawing is art

Keep the rule but dont give a track maker a trophy is what i say,

Lol I know a few guys from TC have LAOTW trophies because of CC's monuments I say get rid of it. (The rule idk about their trophies.)

Change it: Everyone who have made the scenery, can be added...

I like this idea. The track maker(s) should be credited, just not rewarded.
