What TigerLine was saying when he quoted you the first time was that the rules say not to post your entry, not that you couldn't say that you were entering. He wasn't telling you not to do something, like you clearly thought. He was telling you that what you did wasn't explicitly mentioned in the rules and was therefor perfectly acceptable. Aaaaand then you jumped down his throat after he tried to defend you.

He THEN explained his position in plain english

MORAL OF THIS STORY: THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TRY TO STICK UP FOR SOMEONE ELSE OR OTHERWISE ATTEMPT TO BE HELPFUL, CHILDREN. THE PERSON YOU WERE TRYING TO HELP WILL TURN AROUND AND PUNCH YOU SQUARE IN THE FACE.

Aye, and the entire point of the PM rule is to encourage people to enter instead of holding off their entry till next week. there was a big massive debate about it. by posting that you're entering in the thread you could potentially be making other people NOT enter in fear of losing to your entry and having basically wasted all the time they spent on their entry.

I've had CC get on my back before about saying I'm entering in the thread, what goes around comes around.

Nobody knows how god/bad my entering is

Nirobi, along with others, are correct. Entering in this thread is not allowed. However, it is true that at this point in time there is no rule against stating that you:
A. will be entering
or
B. have entered

To prevent further arguements, next week's entry thread will have edited rules. It is implied, from not being able to post an entry publicly, that stating anything about yourself entering is not allowed either. It was unclear, but I will make it clear next week.

What will be added as long as the majority of you agree:
-Entering must be done via PM 9personal message) to Commandercoke.
-Revealing that you have entered is not allowed. (This is to keep entries private and therefore prevent people from holding their entry because of an opponent.)
-Stating that you will or plan on entering is not allowed.

Btw, we now have FOUR entries.

this has basically been 3 weeks long, why don't we make it into LAOTM?

it's not like we've ever had a problem of too many entries. how long does it take to look at an entry? (as opposed to a movie?)
