Would it be possible?
The concept of the idea was actually founded by Sorvius who made the DNA-effect and I'm trying to continue that style with a new LR term: motion-control.
The idea would be - in theory - simple: You would have to pick a object, like a tiger, and scene the tiger. Then, you have to move the object a few pixels to the right, and adjust the legs. If you would repeat this over and over again, and let Bosh ride on high-speed, I think a running tiger would be visible!
Would this be possible? If so, it's a whole new scenery style!

I thought of this idea a few weeks ago. I think it would be possible, but I haven't tried it yet

I don't think it is. You see DNA is all connected, all he had to do was have bosh going a decent speed and have the DNA spin. You can't really connect a tiger from what I think, and have it look as though it's running. It's like you'd have to draw the tiger 3438413874 times moving a couple of frames each time and looking as if it's running while having bosh going at the speed of light
It's pretty much have to be like Flip Book animation. I personally don't think it's possible.

flip book animation, that could work in high speed, so yah it works

Re: Would it be possible?
Well I guess what I'm saying is no one is ever going to have the patience to get Bosh at the speed they'd need and draw a tiger so many times as to make it right. It'd have to be like the speed of VIBErate or w.e it was

Re: Would it be possible?
It would work, easily, ive thought of this many times. But, its a pain to get the same outline/slightly different outline lots of times. I might try this actually, sometime. One problem is that bosh would need to be moving at like 300 pixels a second.

Re: Would it be possible?
that depends on how zoomed the track is and how small the object that's moving is.

That's a very interesting idea.
I've also always been curious about animating a line rider track by putting together different clips. For example you have a car in one clip, and in the next clip you have the same car drawn slightly further ahead. It would be like switches but x100 more epic. I think I'll experiment with that a little.

Yes, this is very much possible.
But in order for this to work, you'll have to draw the same tiger over and over again (40 times every second), which, will be alot alot of work. When you go record it, you have to make sure the Flash Player has to be in EXACTLY the same position, or else it will be skippy.
you might want to try this with something a bit easier first, ie a bouncy ball.
I had an idea like this a while ago, but i cba to try it

Not really a new idea, but very few have the patience to execute it. It involves a LOT of recording and splicing, but it's a pretty simple process.

I've been wanting to have a wolf running for years. I might actually do it sometime...

I tried doing this with a stick figure waving in 8.0, but the copy/paste tool I was using kept glitching.

Possible ? Yes. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkh59FVjikw)
But doing something complex would be insane and very repetitive. I already tried something similar and more basic (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMEOn59xPik#t=0m40s), or if you want to go crazy and try something else (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woJxipGhdIc).
Anyway, good luck with this, hope it will work for you.

Re: Would it be possible?
if I ever finish my next track, this will be in it... (planned since a year ago)

Now that's what I wanted to see! That's exactly my idea! So yeah, we have to calculate with which speed the animation could go smooth (most animations are about 24 frames per second), then calculate the length Bosh achieves after 1 second, divide this length with 24 and creating at every point the object. So that would be 24 objects in one second.
Maybe this can work out pretty good!
EDIT: Perhaps it's handy to use mhenr 8.0 for this idea, because it has a copy/paste tool.

Re: Would it be possible?
What if you make a long connected tiger that change shape how longer bosh rides. Of course, he has to go fast!
EDIT: forget it. Go for the book-flip-thing.

Re: Would it be possible?
As I've said before, I tried doing this exact thing with that tool (and I even have the .sol on mhenr's site) but the tool kept glitching. If you have the patience to save and reload every thing it glitches though, then go for itPodpack wrote:EDIT: Perhaps it's handy to use mhenr 8.0 for this idea, because it has a copy/paste tool.

it wouldn't be that hard, with mhenr's newest beta hack, with the copy and paste thingy.

Erm, how about this track?

The fling at around the end might be the motion thing you were looking for.

No, I don't even see a DNA effect in it, sorry.

Re: Would it be possible?
In theory, this is perfectly logical, as bosh moves to his next frame, the tiger would, etc. creating an animation.
In reality, this would be a tedious task taking forever.

This ^
Yes, if it is at such a high speed that it is at least a completely new screen visible every frame (Like, at least 1024 frames per second which is redonkulous), then you draw a picture of scenery in one frame, then copy/paste with mhenr's tool the picture into the next frame so that it shows up in the EXACT same spot on the screen each time, and change the pic a little bit each time as wanted. Then do that over and over and over.
It would be a long grueling process, but yes, it's possible.
btw, sorv's dna doesn't have anything to do with this. It was just one continuous picture that bosh rode under.
