anyway, I've decided I am going to re-seed ONE more time before round 4, since the results still don't seem to be lining up right. (probably because people don't VOTE CONSISTENTLY DAMMIT but there's no harm in smoothing it out a bit more) I'll do the same thing as for round 3 - add their % to their current score.

Also I'm resigned to the fact that this ToC will end mid-september, so I'm gonna extend round 4 to 5 days each, round 5 to 6 days each, and then the final four to 7 days each. Maybe have the last poll go a little longer. That'll make it all end around September 20th or so. So hopefully I won't get too swamped with college lol.

Another thing - I will be making a visual bracket of the sweet 16, so you can see whom will go up against whom if so-and-so wins and etc. (Round 4 and on will be one-on-one polls)

Also, I'm following in Chih's footsteps and taking meticulous records and will be making a ToC3 youtube video

I'll post the filler poll and start the re-seeding ranking for round 4 tomorrow.

Actually, AQFQ was voted fairly consistently on. People liked Immersion and The Painting slightly better, after they were all very close in ranking in round 2.

Your seeding... sucks, in my opinion

Your putting the best against the worst, where obviously the best will win. It will do this for probably 4 out the 8 rounds. the rest will be fairly equal.

There probably isn't a better way to do this, but you could go every other
1 and 3
2 and 4
5 and 7
6 and 8
etc, to make it more balanced.

Um, duh. The idea is that the best ones go the furthest, and the final four are the best four tracks instead of eliminating the 3rd place ranked one before it gets to the elite eight like your system would do. Look at any seeding for any tournament for any sport and this is how they do it - best against worst. Plus, this way the polls get more and more interesting in later rounds.


Also, sorry about the brackets. I can't really make them now since this computer doesn't have photoshop so I guess I'll make them for the final 8 only when I get back home.

pls make another seeding its true that the best will own the worst and the runner up the 2nd to worst but its also true that the best tracks deserve their seeding.

I think the seeding is fine. It's fair to the tracks that deserve to go the furthest. In my opinion, Rabid's done the best job he could and a much better job than previous ToCs.
