Update (March 14th): Shotoku filed a copyright takedown notice after I reuploaded the videos to IRTLTube. I filed a counter notification, and in the correspondence that followed he agreed to reupload his videos to a new channel. I've created a playlist of all the videos of his we have, in reverse chronological order.

Unfortunately, this is on hold for the time being. Shotoku filed a copyright takedown on his videos. I'm working on getting them back up under the section of copyright fair use law for archival purposes, should know how it's going in the next week or so.
Worst case scenario I will upload them all to dropbox and post them here, and start a new youtube channel for broadcasts and quick reviews and the like...

Sorry this happened, but I really appreiciate your efforts, Rabid, whenever this happens. When we have someone's tracks, they've never really left, and we never lose that connection. That's how I've felt about pretty much anyone who leaves.

If you wish to use my videos on IRTLTube, I will stop fighting for ownership of my content under these conditions.
I will upload the videos to another channel I own under my own conditions and provide you with the appropriate pages to link how you wish. These re-uploads will have a reduced quality and may have altered titles, descriptions, and annotations, but will have original and unaltered video and audio, save for the quality reduction.
If you say will not cease to display them on IRTLTube or any other channel by deleting them, then you must at least try to follow the guidlines in the section of law you referenced. This means attempting to negotiate a fair price with me to display them against my reuploads and providing a suitable copyright notice. I will not interfere with them anymore on any channel you wish to have them on under these conditions after receiving a payment which can be negotiated later.
Please reply with either the consent to remove them from IRTLTube upon me making them available to the public via reupload again or your desire to follow through with further negotiations. If a response is not received by March 16th I will counter your counter claim to the fullest extent I can.I recommend you take me seriously in this matter.

I will consent to remove the videos from IRTLTube if you make them available to the public again, under the following conditions:
1. The quality must remain at a level high enough that the works are still able to be studied, and no details of the videos are lost. You are not permitted to intentionally lower the quality with the purpose of making the videos unwatchable.
2. The originally published titles of the videos must remain clear to the viewer.
3. You may not use the altered titles, descriptions, or annotations with vicious intentions to attack or disparage IRTLTube, WeRideTheLines, myself (Ben Harvey, alias rabid squirrel), or any other members of the Line Rider community.
If you do not agree to these terms, I will opt to keep the videos on IRTLTube, and attempt to honor your request to follow Section 108 more closely. IRTLTube operates entirely on volunteer time and has received no funds of any kind, and thus does not have a budget. I was not aware that profit could be made from a private youtube video, and thus I doubt compensation of more than $0.00 would be required for reuploading your videos. If I am wrong, I am happy to enter negotiations, but understand that monetary compensation will not be possible without requesting donations from the Line Rider community. I will, however, certainly provide a more suitable copyright notice on each video, and make sure that it is to your satisfaction.
Since you filed the takedown notice, a number of other videos of yours have been recovered. They are:

Thank you for your correspondence. I hope we can come to an agreement on this issue so that your wishes met as much as possible, while still allowing for the videos to be publicly available to the Line Rider community. I wish you had reached out to me in person on this matter earlier, instead of filing a takedown notice and effectively sabotaging the IRTLTube channel's good standing with a copyright strike. I hope we can come to an agreement that will once again allow IRTLTube to continue to upload content such as squirrel broadcasts and quick reviews, which I hope you can agree are important for both the channel and the Line Rider community as a whole.
On a less formal note, I hope you are doing well. I don't think I can still say that we at WRTL hope you come back after all you've done, but I still do appreciate all the work you did for WRTL, both when you were staff and when you were not. And I hope you believe me when I say that these videos were not reuploaded out of spite, but out of a genuine desire to make them available to the Line Rider community for study, as is the intention with all IRTLTube Recovery Project uploads. The body of work you have created is solid, entertaining, important, and often beautiful.

While the resolution is mildly reduced I believe they should satisfy your guidelines of being watchable. Additionally the titles are as descriptive as necessary and does not contain any libel, nor do the descriptions. In any case, you have non-Youtube archival methods at your disposal I'm sure to contain the originals if you ever wished to distribute the files in a less-publicly searchable setting.
I would appreciate a copy of the other videos you have noted as well to upload myself, if you would be so kind. As a fair warning, if there are any 3rd Party Copyright claims due to music on any of them as there were in the past, I will opt to remove or replace the audio rather than fight to keep the original audio on the video.
On a less formal note, I'm honestly surprised those had survived somehow and if they had came along a year or two ago I would have been ecstatic. Seems the only things missing are some of the very first ones and a couple from mid-2013 that I can remember off the top of my head. Thank you for understanding willingness to work this out, though I had wished you would have attempted contact beforehand when in the past I had explicitly expressed an aversion to re-uploading removed videos without consent of the person who made it. On a final note, while my views on WRTL and Line Rider are for the most part negative, I still think in general it is a good thing you are dedicated to what you do to help tje people who still enjoy it, especially in the face of such adversity over the years (though I may disagree with your means of doing so at times). I hope you apply that kind of passion to other things in your life as well, and understand that I'm not a monster out to destroy everything you've done, I have a life, family, and other friends just as anyone does. I just get a bit more defensive and riled up when I feel wronged or see things happening I feel aren't just, as you've probably noticed over the years. P.S. I think it was obvious after round 3 that Breathtaking Silence couldn't possibly lose a single round in ToL and is very likely to win the finals and the whole contest.

Okay so I just ended up seeing what was in the recovery thread on the site by bypassing IP ban again (seriously annoying, especially when I can get past it just by going somewhere with my phone or take my laptop to somewhere other than my apartment) and I found the folder of stuff. I'll upload whatever is there soon. I will also just put up a couple other videos I have that you hadn't put on IRTLTube.
Since you caught me on a good day and I'm feeling especially benevolent, here's a list of what I know is missing so you can add it to whatever wish list you have (I didn't take a look at what was there now)

Nothing else really comes to mind except a few tracks I know were never put out in any form. There was a really cool flatsled/xy omni that I sent a sol to OTDE once but he told me he didn't have it anymore. Everything else I can remember from back then I believe was in an unfinished track video. That other sol folder on that thread, I don't recognize anything other than Yoloswag that might be mine, but if you are wondering about any of them you can send me a screenshot and I will be able to recognize it if it was something of mine.

I greatly appreciate this. Yes, those reuploads are just fine.
I would like to wait until the copyright strike has officially been lifted before taking down the videos... which I think will happen if we just wait until they expire? (10-14 business days from March 11, according to the email I received) You may know more than I do about this based on what YouTube has been telling you on your end, but YouTube was very clear that deleting the videos was not a valid way of removing the strike so I am worried that if I delete the videos the strike won't expire. So I think I will wait for the strikes to expire before removing the videos, which may mean that they will become briefly public on IRTLTube between when the strike is removed and I remove them from the channel. So just letting you know in case you come across them during that time.
I'll make sure to post your list of missing tracks and send you an email if we recover any more of them. Do you have any requests related to your unfinished and/or unreleased tracks that I made recordings of? I have been planning to edit and release them eventually.

I don't have any information on what can be done on your end in regards to the strikes, just that if I didn't respond to YT with a counter to your counter within 10 days the content would be made available again until I did. If for some reason the strike is not removed if you remove them after that time then I would do what I need to work it out, as it's only fair considering the uploads it was against aren't there anymore.
As for those extra recordings, if you reference my username at all (which I'm assuming you would so it's clear what the video is) then yes I would prefer them all be in with the rest of them on the re-upload channel. Unless you wanted to give them special treatment with the songs I included and some extra editing, then I would just upload them all as they are now if I was able to access the old message you sent me. If you really want to add something else to them though it doesn't really matter to me what you do in the video, but I would prefer to have what I made and what has my alias on it to be with the rest of them on that separate channel, provided all that's left to do is upload it.

Sounds good. I will keep you updated on IRTLTube's standing and copyright strike status, and when I do the edits (which will include music and simple titles like other archive videos) I will email them to you for you to upload to that channel (with a title and description as you see fit) and will refrain from distributing them elsewhere on YouTube.
If you think of any further concerns, feel free to email me. I check this email frequently (and every email I have, including every youtube channel, funnels into this one, so I effectively check all of them frequently)
