Re: The Gorge
That was amazing, loved it! Nice editing as well. Is this your first scenery track? O.o

Oh man. Combined with the epic music this is such an immersive track. Fantastic job on the worldbuilding! I didn't particularly like the different scenery styles though.
I'd LOVE to see you make more scenery

I'd love to see everyone make more scenery.
edit : also, the style of the scenery and how it compliments the track really made me think of Moizut's scenery.

Dude, this is on par with BS imo and arguably better, because of the clean edit and smoothness of it all. It's just so... beautiful! Everything fits and looks nice and passes by at an appropriate speed. Good track choice for doing scenery and amazing job at creating it. This is going to be a track that will be remembered

It was! I have made attempts at scenery in small tracks before but this is my first full scenery track.

That's fair! Scening styles are pretty subjective.
You'll get your wish in about a week.

Thanks! I agree, scenery should be something people try more.

Re: The Gorge
Just watched this again and I got chills for the second time at that ending. It's perfect how you have the build up through the entire track (the music helps a lot with this). I feel like we're exploring this strange place, going underwater, seeing this weird big rather dark creature (which if you paid attention you know has tentacles) of some kind and then BAM you see the face of the Octopus fly by and you're like O SHIIII, that's a big damn octopus and then you ride his arm and see the Octopus again and you're like I WANNA GET OUT OF HERE and he goes up and stuff and smoothly lands in that beautiful ending screen "The Gorge" with that Tentacle sticking out on the left. It's just beautifully done and there are so many little details that are either cute or cool Easter-eggs that I think I'll keep finding new ones with every time I watch this.
Like for example I wonder what the (probably) Chinese characters at 1:43 mean. And there is that crate, what's in it? And the fish looks nice man.
And then those cute mushrooms at 1:52 damn they are so cute XD
So much detail everywhere, but you don't actually need to stop the track to see it. It's really amazing. Never enjoyed a scenery track as much as this I think. If I could give holy shoe's, I'd give one to this track, because HOLY !!!! this track is awesome.

Re: The Gorge
I'm going to begin by saying that despite whatever criticism follows, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this track. It's really a treat to see a full scenery project. And your track is awesome. I wouldn't give this kind of feedback if I didn't think highly of it.
The track, as a whole, lacks consistency in style. You can locate the different inspirations pretty easily. That's my biggest issue. Drawing from other people is great, but in this case the styles do not mix well. There's not an overcasting unity in style or theme. If the theme is random, make the whole track a little random. There's a fun little chomping dino at the beginning, but nothing similar ever shows up again. The style in which you made the octopus is great and so fresh! Super unique stylistically! But that linear, geometric shading is never seen in anything else! WHY?! Pick a few key decisions and implement them within multiple parts of the track (if not the whole thing) and it will feel much more unified. If Incito Scened has one positive, it is a sense of unity. Random as hell, but it's all obviously done by the same hand. If this is an excercise in toying with styles, then perhaps disregard all of that, but I don't get the feeling that was the goal of this project. Another example is in the grassy stuff hanging off the cliffs. I'm a sucker for that Willster/Forbidden Paradise style, but in the context of the rest of the track it feels out of place. The grass uses implied line; many lines don't connect to each other but the human eye instinctively knows to finish it. It's a trick I've used a lot in the past, but that's the only instance implied line is used, so it feels out of place. You do sort of use it on the stone in the underwater section, but I'm still not sold on the grass.
The underwater portions including the coral are my favorites, but once the man-made objects start appearing I become a little jarred and confused. Am I in the water still? I know it is, but 2:23 lacks any visual reference to water. Perhaps just a subtle reminder like bubbles? And I think the octopus could benefit from some bubbles. It feels really stationary, which would work just fine if his tentacles were not tangled all across the place. They're not resting on anything, so bubbles would be appropriate.
The diagonal lined shading on the underwater bridge isn't really necessary and doesn't really make sense because it doesn't occur to everything underwater.
The tree at 0:52 deserves a little more definition.
1:41-1:57 is easily the best part of the track because it is incredibly unified. What you're doing there is working 100%.
The silhouette at 2:19 doesn't work. There's no other instance of silhouettes.
The bridge at 2:36 is cool on it's own; it doesn't really vibe with the track as a whole though.
You could have done something much more interesting with the ending.
Those are my ramblings. Again, I know you want to improve, and I want to help if possible. But feel free to disagree and/or ignore me!

I'm loving the critique, coke! I'll make sure to work on technique, and implement a lot of the things you're suggesting in future tracks.

Re: The Gorge
I agree with coke that 1:41-1:57 is the best part of the track, too me it comes close to when we first see the Octopus though, as well as that I love the ending. That tentacle and the name of the track like that in combination with the music gives me chills every time I watch it. Though probably coke is right that there is a more interesting way to end it, I love this one anyway
Re: The Gorge
Hey guys just bumping this coz it's so damned cool
EDIT: I mean, the detail level is perfect, and Im pretty sure there was some texture/scening innovation in there. I really loved how at the end Bosh sped up and went all around the track, as kind of like a recap of what we'd witnessed. And the title at the end has a really baller font.
