quirk is more than technical prowess, there are things you cant look into the code to find out

I didn't actually think these through too hard. They were the 15 tracks that came to mind when I try to find some inspiration. There's plenty more I couldn't think of.

Also, as it stands, Party's Over is the only track to make me verbally shout "oh my god" (right at the drop around a minute into the vid).

I'm a veteran and I have no idea if it's technically good or not. I just think it's the best music synced track of all time, the best omnitrack of all time, and just the best unscened track of all time, period. It epitomizes conun's description of line rider as choreographing a cinematic kinetic dance animation. The tricks don't really matter except to create sections and to drive his movement and change the intensity of the track. The track fits the music like a glove and builds throughout and climaxes in bigger form than any track ever created (except I could see arguments for Transcendental and/or Evolution of LR, but IMO the tension-build was executed far better in Handlebars than either of those). The scope of the whole thing is massive and the execution is near-perfect. It's a rare gem of a track that actually takes you exactly where you didn't even dare to hope it would go and then beyond. I get shivers watching it, sometimes still after seeing it dozens of times. Whenever I see it on the stream I stop whatever I am doing and watch it. It's my favorite bare track. It impresses everyone I show it to, even if they have been introduced to line rider 5 minutes beforehand. It's the second bare track I show people when I'm explaining Line Rider, after Evolution of Line Rider. It has a visceral quality that is simply unparalleled. Don't try to tell me it's not that good

Technically wise, it is a feat, but you're right it comes nowhere close.
I'm a very old player, so I am the exception to your theory.
I can't honestly elocute why it is my favorite.
