No @ Ktk's change figure and low gravity. Those will just bring nubs into the community, and everyone will make tracks in low-grav and edit out the thing that says it's in that mode D:
I definitely agree with undo (if that means un-erase) and multiple flags, though.

A lot of these will be copied from mhenr:
• .sol merger
• .sol splitter (you know, so you can easily share one track without having to do a lot of work. Just make a button on the save screen that says "Make its own .sol" or something like that)
• link that you can press that takes you to the folder containing your .sols
• XY(+45º so we can do tilted XY?) snap
• Speedometer that actually works
• Colour eraser
• Eraser that you can make different sizes to delete more stuff at once
• make the linecount thing tell you how many of each line type there are as well as the total, like mhenr's thing does
• Toggle for automatically moving the start point when you draw your first line. Would only exist/show when there aren't any lines, of course.
• Easy colour playback
• Rewind/pause
• Make the slomo speed configurable (might not be doable very well =/)
• Make zooming in as far as superzoom in 6.1/6.3 something you can do without pressing any buttons or anything. Just have it be able to zoom in really far, you know.

Here are some things that might be considered cheating, you might not want to mention them unless I get a whole bunch of "OMG HEDGE I AGREE"s:
• Filled box tool (click and drag from one corner to the opposite corner, it makes a box filled with lines)
• A link in the help screen to a tutorial set, submitted by members, chosen by InXile or a representative that's better at LR then they are (I'd prefer it be picked by us and not them, but heck, they're making it, amirite)

That's all I can think of right now. I'll tell you if I think of anything else.

I Agree with fill box. Tutorial is nice but not absolutely required.

I suppose I could hack line rider for a figure changing, (I have a good idea that could revolutionize scenery ^^) and low-grav was half-assed.

foreground and background scenery? NOT CRAP THAT MOVES WITH LINE RIDER, JUST LINES THAT HIGHER PRIORITIES THAN LINE RIDER. It could make layered scenery a lot cooler.

Fill Box = bad. back/foreground scenery = bad.

And hedge forgot fastforward.

Other than that, everything hedge said.

I'm skeptical though on two things:
1) that you're not just saying this to pretend that you are somehow working with INXile
2) that InXile will actually do it right

No colours, no layers, no retarded Bosh, ONLY Bosh, physics being the same as Beta 2, no bezier curves, only 3 types of lines, no dumb puzzle mode, Flash, no retarded animated storylines, and no price, and yeah, pretty much Unbound. Closer to Beta 2 though.

And I agree with no background/foreground scenery.

rabid why are the two bad? :< it makes unique scenery possible without fancy editing [which doesn't show skill in line rider, more in editing] as well as fill box [which doesn't show creativity, just patience. And no one cares if you're patient :| ]

because it makes line thicknesses possible @ box, and that's one of the challenges of LR

@ scenery depths - if it's made like in LR2 (only 5 layers), it looks cheesy and feels contrived. (is that the right word? well you get what I mean I hope)

EDIT: oh, do you mean like scenery can go over other scenery? like, in Hillz for example? Yeah, that would be cool. Not sure how it would be done though.

It's easy. You put the first line in the top layer in flash and bosh will go behind the line... ._.

Scenery depth: There are 3 depths. Lines that bosh doesn't ride (scenery) lines that bosh rides (track lines) and the one I want to implement, lines in front of bosh that cover him up. Like the globe in x612nt13's parodoxical whatever (video 5 of octavE)

@ Above.. No... :/

No @ colored scenery. If that comes, I'm sticking with beta 2.

What about making white space in the "front"? like, make it overlap, like the 3rd layer? or would that just not be possible?

Agreed.
I would like a feature where you can highlight a certian part of scenery, and move it to a different part of the track. I have needed this as I have drawn something epic, but you can barely see it. :|

Doesn't he go in front of lines if they're on his layer? So if there are layers, there would only be 1 needed in front. Still, I'm kinda questioning this whole layers thing, because if it was implemented it would need white lines to make it any good (because otherwise you'd barely be able to tell he goes behind them), and that might be going a bit far in the Unbound direction for me =/

What is so wrong with having the ability to do colored scenery. Because its there doesn't mean you have to use it. I know LR is unique because its all black and white art and what not. Think about this though, what if all TV channels broadcasted in only black and white (yes i know they did at 1 point)? Wouldn't that get boring after a while? I just want color in LR to be taken into consideration.

My grammer may suck because its like 3:50 AM here

having the ability to have two riders go at once would be cool...

but something I'd REALLY like to see (although probably isn't possible) is having no flash script errors. -.-
