obviously, the double recycle was awesome. The sheltacks were awesome too. At any rate, it's better than this post is.

Re: Valence 2
So many awesome moments; I loved how there were faster and slower sections, and the slower sections didn't kill the flow.
Also, dat recycling

Re: Valence 2
It's odd, all of the super powerful wells in there made the other ones feel almost normal, even though I knew they were also extremely powerful and complicated at that. I guess it might just be the contrast between the two. Either way, this whole thing was amazing, and I can't wait see what else you can make in the future.

This was awesome, the perfect blend of powerful misdirection and clean flow, all executed at a very high standard. Unique yet classic.

Although this was feckin' awesome, I like Valence a LOT more. I also expected it to be longer.

[10:20:27 PM] Josh Hudson: no negative reviews
[10:20:31 PM] Kaelan Evans: Sheldon, don't tempt me
[10:20:42 PM] Kaelan Evans: I will be able to taer down that entire track
[10:20:50 PM] Josh Hudson: but you gotta account for the dwindling community
[10:21:03 PM] Josh Hudson: go ahead whats wrong with it
Well if you insist.
Right off the bat, the music. No no no no no. no. Immediately I could tell you were full of yourself, like this was supposed to be way more impressive than what it hyped to be. In the end it looked like a pretty average track to me. Not joking here or saying it for the sake of negative connotation, it felt average to me. Like Raf and Kramwood had a baby, and this was like it's 6th grade final or something.
So for the first few seconds, I was a bit confused. it wasn't until my third watch I knew what was going on. That zoom out effect was bad and ruined the flow of the track. On a side note, the zoom was awkward through the whole thing, and the track seemed to fight with it as it went on. Through out the entire track, it didn't feel like you were putting much time into elongating each trick, between each evolution, it felt like you tried to get 10 wells in before you were stuck on this one awkward angle where you couldn't get a successful gwell without crashing or pulling some other contact point, so you just went with this new pull, or tried pulling a different point. Every now and then there was a fling that actually lasted for more than 10 wells, but they were so few and far in between, it gave a very inconsistent look. Since youtube doesn't do justice with video, and as I'm typing this you just told me you accidentally deleted your video, I'm going to use the sol for future reference. Lets begin.

Those are just three of the >30 unused stacks I found. I stopped counting after 30, otherwise I'd have an exact number. I didn't include all the unnecessary lines obviously, but regardless, we all know how bad that looks to have lots unnecessary lines in a stack.
Lets move away from the nit picks, makes bad reviews if all you do is nit pick.
Continuing on with stacks, those felt out of place as well. Sure, they're 'your thing', but like the awkward evolution flings, they felt as if you couldn't change the direction with the fling you already had, or just couldn't nail that specific well. The playback zoom you had it at was awkward as well, gave this bad lurch feeling. I played around with the zoom playback on my end and figured you had it at a 400 zoom. it wasn't until I set it at 250 where I could watch the track and actually see what was going on. Was it your goal to make everything whiz by before the brain could process what just happened? because if it was, good job. Looking back at it again with this better playback, it still felt weird. a lot of the flings felt forced, as if bosh was actively fighting against the flings you were making him go through, which would explain the constant evolving flings you kept using.
Our discussion about quality today also got me thinking. If you put so much time into making such 'high quality' tracks, why was this only a minute long?
I'd give a score, but that would imply I have a solid opinion on the matter, which i don't because of how inept the track was with itself. I'd like to see you do something better.
