The Well-Tempered Manual
A track almost not worth watching! Except you will watch it because I tell you to.
This track is dedicated Opal to compensate for any lack of flow in the track.
So you don't like the long intro? Here's some help: watch how the two rails interact with each other, and the other rails moving closer and further away. Also pay attention to how the ground changes texture kind of in sync with the music.
If you're really exasperated by the length of this video because you actually have a life, watch the abridged version.
If you want the .sol, here it is (only works on 3.4 and that kind of version. I didn't check them all, but it doesn't work with 6.7 or 6.x): .SOUL

- On criticism:
- If you want to say something bad, make sure you do it well. Give concrete examples.
Also, don't say 'bad stuff first'. Do 'bad stuff last'. I like it better that way. Except maybe end on a happy note to make me happy.
If you don't want to say anything, don't.
But come on, at least one person has to say something.

Re: The Well-Tempered Manual
Well I have to say there was some really, really cool stuff in there. The 45* manuals were an awesome touch, and I seriously did a doubletake when that weird quirk section came out of almost nowhere. It almost felt like hax after the flowy stuff that preceded it.

Literally I am stunned.
Those smooth curves and interesting shapes in the first half and last half were so coooool!
That middle...don't even get me started on how much I enjoyed that mess.
My tracks will pale in comparison to this, dare I say, masterpiece of a track.
Totes blown away.
Amazing work, bro!

WOW
I don't know if I've ever been more impressed by a naked track before. Such an awesome idea you had with the manuals, and you executed it beautifully. Some of those recycles had me mouth agape, some were totally unexpected. I literally said WOW loudly when the alt quirk part started. Crazy strong, such good control. I have never seen that ridiculous alternating kramual stuff before--is that new?
I love how you sectioned that part of the song off and gave it its own unique track section. Just superb production all around. I really hope to see more from you.
P.S. I really enjoy your editing, especially because you record it yourself.

Re: The Well-Tempered Manual
If I were Rabid, I'd holy shoe this in a heartbeat. It's hands down one of the most enjoyable tracks I've ever watched actually. The creativity you put into such a simple concept as manuals is insane. I absolutely loved every second of this. I loved the, dare I call them, "silly moments" of off-balanced manuals, and it'll kill me inside to think of how patient had to have to make them so smooth. The concept of this track was amazing. To put it simply, it's a friggin long track, but I could watch it all day, that's just how fun it is to watch.
This makes me happy. Great job

Probably one of the most unique tracks I've ever seen. Enjoyable to watch. The x/y locked and the 45 degree locked manuals were very cool. Many of times even in the manuals I just had this moment of "wait woah that was cool"

Re: The Well-Tempered Manual
This is the track that made me interested in watching LR tracks again.
My only complaint is the length of the video, a complaint I almost universally have. I had no problems with the length of the track as it's the only track I've wanted to watch the whole way though. However I think that it would have been a lot better with a much shorter intro (edit the audio - there's no need to do an extended title just to keep sync) and without the color playback. A track that cool and that filled with moments of "WTF I don't even" is better off basking in the mystery of no-one knowing how exactly you pulled it off.

Re: The Well-Tempered Manual
I don't think there is anything like this. If there was anything that was unique in Line Rider....
I mean, really, I almost can't believe what I just watched.

Re: The Well-Tempered Manual
First track in a while that made me wonder if it was hax. Wow. Really wasn't impressed with the manuals, though. Like you sacrificed what you wanted to do to keep the track too consistent.
Unless somebody else quotes this and starts arguing. If that happened, use this response instead:
That's gotta be the most thought provoking track in so long. The theme was great all the way through, and there wasn't a boring part. Feature this ASAP.

Re: The Well-Tempered Manual
That was absolutely awesome.
At first I thought it was a bit repetitive, but after watching the whole thing I realized how it well it was all tied together.
One of the coolest tracks I've seen, and super inspiring!

Your control is insane! Seriously, what the hell
Favorite moments were the early tail manuals, the nosie at 2:34 and the kramual alt fling. I jumped out of my seat multiple times watching this. The track length is impressive as well. Crazy track, man.
Could be interesting to scene too, but I'd have to come up with some creative way to do it first.

HOLY SHOE
I need to digest this before I type a full response, but this is one of those tracks that is unlike anything else and that you know is going to be a game changer for all of us.
also it never even occurred to me that it was a long track, until I read comments on how long it was.
also also I said "holy shit" out loud, like, four times while watching.

This is seriously like the only track I've watched more than 3 times that came out this summer.

Re: The Well-Tempered Manual
First time my jaw literally dropped during a track. It was during the kramual, but the rest of the track was phenomenol. I did think I could have so much fun watch long straight manuals. Proud to be an inspiration. Holy shoe well deserved. I see a feature and LCC in your future!

I love this track, gao. I laughed at one point irl when he went from one unbalanced position to another and back. And your intros are so awesome, keep it up.
