The Grove [CC & Lankher]
LankhyBankhy made the little track for me to scene. It took about 5 hours and was quite fun. ^^
If anybody is interested in making more of these short tracks for me, let me know.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy it.

Damn, son. Those trees were exactly right.
I would've liked to see the slagwell-ness of the stall preserved, though. That is, cutting the horizontal line off where it meets the vertical line, so that it really looks like it's just clinging to the side.
But, yeah, I have no idea how you do this stuff.

I wanna make a track just so your holy hands can caress it with your lovely scenery.

Re: The Grove [CC & Lankher]
these mini tracks are really starting to grow on me. before I left i kinda looked at them like we were really halfheartedly making tracks, but now I see them more like pictures kinda, quick snap shots of tracks. nothing to fancy about them, no technicality really behind them, just kinda perfect length tracks that are filler for the really big projects in the works.
regardless, nicely done. very pleasant and soothing.

loving the vibe these track-bites are giving. Crisp, clean scenery with a great use of absence and balance. That coupled with a graceful track. This stuff is addicting.

Wow, makes me want more of CC's scening. Also, Lankher's track was pretty impressive too.

Wait what?
Anyway I really enjoyed this CC. The scenery was very simplistic and beautiful. The varying thickness of the lines made the trees more interesting to look at and hinting at the season with the falling leaves was a nice artistic choice.
Lankher did a nice job with the track. It flows well and the recycling parts were pretty cool.
The music fit well with the track and scenery and did a good job of setting the tone for the video. Also the simple, minimalistic video editing suited the small, snapshot of a track well IMO.

That scenery is smooth, and that track was good too, nice job.

Please make me something! If you're serious, 10-20 seconds.OTDE wrote:I wanna make a track just so your holy hands can caress it with your lovely scenery.
Thank you very much, you guys. :] It still truly means a lot to me.
And regarding the stall; sorry to dissapoint. I suppose I could have used it to its full potential, but there wasn't a whole lot that I could do to make it harmonize with the rest of the track. That's my lame excuse.

Wow, you really weren't kidding about the short track lol But it was still a good track, and the scenery was also very well done. It had a very nice flow I guess, for lack of a better word, in that everything just fit very well together. Great job on this little track
As an overall rating, I would say 7/10, only because it was so short.
