Mr. Krabs, I have an idea!

Okay I have another idea.... Dawgs.

I was thinking back to tracks like Transcendental and One Eyed Giant, and I noticed the special fx in them. Namely the sound effects, and the noises that the sled would make when grinding for instance or the famous crash in One Eyed Giant.

Well, I recently have been watching Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World everyday for the past week, and I thought wow this would look so badass if someone did something like this in Line Rider with the coin sounds and comic-style "CRASH!" and "THWOK!" and "RING!!!" signs/sounds.

I know we have some really good editing gangsters up in here, and I figured if we're gonna spend all this time making the intro look fancy, why not just make the whole video fancy? Not necessarily depending on editing to make the track better but just the video as a whole a hell of a lot more entertaining to watch.

For example, you have the edited tracks like the switch and the mission series by whatshisface with the lasers and the buttons.
I think it would be cool if we did something like that in modern tracks, even naked ones, but scott pilgrim style.

Just simple sound effects and the occasional onomatopoeia for sudden stops and squishies.

Also, that's sort of what I'm planning to do for my next track that will be out next year-ish depending on how lazy of a bum I am/the amazing gifts I get for Christmas and will be excessively playing.

Well, adding effects like that shouldn't be so hard, pretty much anyone can do that.
I say, take the lead and hopefully others will follow

I tried that in Soap clan. It died right away.

I'll try it on my own, though. I've gotten a lot better at editing since Aperture Science (the one with portals for FFtIB).

Also, everyone and their mom can add downloadable sound fx, it's just that it only fits edited "switch-based" tracks.

Yeah see now you're getting it and then have a little "SPLAT!" flash on the screen next to the squishy.
You don't have to have a sound effect constantly playing throughout the whole track, that would be annoying.

I think a kramual would be bones snapping. They just aint natural.
