So I'm usually streaming about this time, every night, if no one else is streaming. Feel free to pop in during this time for the next week. :] I'll try and do this before I head off to college.

Ok, well, I tried uploading the videos to IRTLTube, and I got about 5 of them before it started denying them for being too long - apparently either the fact that I uploaded several 2hour+ movies at once or the audio copyright issues (of which there was a great multitude) destroyed our right to upload >15minute videos.

So yeah. I took them all back down. looks like youtube isn't an option.

I also looked at vimeo but they have a 500 MB per week limit, which is smaller than livestream's...

I can't really even download them all to my computer because I'd get about 20 GB per month (I only have about 150 spare GB on my hard drive and I like to use that occasionally before freeing it up again)

anyone have any ideas?

after some research, it looks like vimeo plus might be just what we want. 5 GB per week of uploads (which is about how much we use) for $10 a month or $60 a year.

So yeah, if you want to donate ten dollars I can use it to start a vimeo plus account to store our livestream archives Smile

and if I get $60 total I can pay for a whole year of it.

Ok, after some thought, I've decided to only archive the past week, unless someone wants to pay for vimeo plus (which I doubt now that I think about it)

I'm going to label streams by date, not by number, and I'm going to sort them by date instead of by person and category. the 6 past days other than today will each have a folder, and then I'll delete the oldest folder every day and make a new one for yesterday.

okay... so i tried to like stream just now... and when i stopped, saved it and what not and then checked it out in the archive, it was saved as like 20 different videos... i have no clue what i did... but i think i was doing it wrong...any help:)

I deleted them all for you. I don't know what causes this but I know that Kohuded was doing the same thing at one point. it seems to be restarting the stream over and over without telling you it failed, so I'd suggest streaming it lower quality.
