Stuff's Going to Happen!

I'm happy to announce that IRTL will be opened up some time this week. I hope you like how this place is set up, forum and rank-wise, because this is essentially going to be the blueprint of the old/new/whatever-you-want-to-call-it IRTL. We have quite a bit of work to do, but I'm sure it won't take long. The site will most definitely be opened by November 1st. If things go well then it should be up and running before then.


In case you're wondering, Rabid is going to be really inactive, as he is extremely busy with school and stuff (Sorry if you didn't want me to say it, but they had to know some time ). He should be back in Summer '10. We'll be making all of the decisions without him, but don't worry, we're not that stupid. I will be your "Rabid" until Hedge and LineBeast get full admin privileges (TD needs to hand them out personally), then we will have three equal "Rabids", a Rabid, and a Dog. 5 admins is a lot, and I personally don't like the number, but we have an awesome staff team at the moment, and I would hate to see it broken up.


If you have any suggestions, we're glad to hear them as long as you say them in an orderly manner.

Although it still won't be like how it used to, because times have changed.

Also, whats going to be the deal with SB mods. Trashed or what? I never remember seeing any discussion on it, or i just forgot.

In other news, which won't matter to you guys, my variants are now on linerider.com.

Things that must be kept at all costs:

-The red theme. It gives you that nice warm feel of home.
-The SB. Best SB ever.

Also, if an ex-elite comes back, make sure they keep their rank. So anyone who was leet before the site went down should keep it. Ain't their fault that the site went down.

Remember to keep your promise and have the Power's Lounge exist for the ex-powers for a few weeks so we can get our stuff out of there.

One thing that I must know - does IRtL still have the f*** up 100MB limit to the database? If it does, we need to really make sure that we keep it under there, so we don't have to wait for TD to come and fix it again.

^ I AGREE @ red theme and SB. Those were the top 2 parts of IRtL I missed the most going over to this site, the 3rd being, surprisingly, the vB adminCP (I don't know why people don't like it, I like it way more than the phpBB adminCP).

I agree with you about the ex-elites, but some of the other admins might disagree. We'll see.

Also, I WILL get the power lounge for you guys, don't worry. If it gets taken away, I will eat my own foot.

Speaking of eating my own foot, that's exactly what I'll do if I let the 100MB problem still exist after we get the site back up. That annoyed the hell out of me.

Also, if rabid is gone for a bit, can you finally put up this weeks LAOTW voting?

@Ex-Elites: I believe in second chances, so if they come back and promise to be active, then I'm sure we'll agree to grant them their rank. Our tolerance for inactivity will be lower if they do so, though.

@Power Lounge: I would've forgot about it.
