Re: Crust
Holy crap that was awesome!
This track is particularly good at taking established ideas about manuals and granuals and subverting them. We've seen basic applications of this in backflip and flashkick, but it was totally cranked up to 11 here. There are really two distinct recycle types in this track: there are recycles that stand out, and those that don't. The ones that do feel like a deliberate showcasing, like "check this shit out mang." And those are awesome, but they also have a completely different feel than the other recycles in the track, which are so well integrated (hehe) that you barely realize it's a recycle, which makes for a good moment of fridge brilliance.
This track does suffer from a couple problems, though. I'm going I do a triple comparison between you, Opal, and Georg to emphasize this. You and Opal both focus on one aspect of Georgio's style while neglecting the other aspect, which is why both of your tracks have an almost-Georgio-just-not-quite-the-same feel. Opal tends to sacrifice flow and cohesiveness for the sake of cool tricks and, more importantly, aesthetics. You, on the other hand, are able to chain lots of cool things together without sacrificing flow or cohesiveness, but some of the curves and rotation aren't as clean, and feel a little awkward sometimes. This is the same problem 1473 had with both Link and Trace: he was able to do lots of cool stuff but the curves looked suuuper wonky. This is one of the reasons why Georgio is so influential: he can blend aesthetics and flow with cool tricks almost seamlessly.
Now, before y'all say "he shouldn't just try and be georgio!", I'm not saying that he should. Pawel's sense of flow and rotation is much faster and more fluid than Georgio's, which was kind of stilted at times. But this is just my advice: play with aesthetics. Mess around with the shape of alt flings and stacks. Try weird stuff. Go the extra mile.
None of this discounts from the fact that this was one of the most enjoyable tracks I've watched in quite some time. I'm loving it, Pawel. MORE! MOREEEEE! These recycles are so cool oh my god!!!

I'd rather have a track that has wonky/natural curves and flow really well than a track that is made to look really neat. And you did a great job with that!
I also noticed you have one single green line in there. lulz

Re: Crust
I think this track might be more of child of contrast for me than anything else, which comes at an interesting point. The flow was so good everywhere, and I absolutely loved the track for this. But because of the smoothness on almost every corner of Pawel's green earth, you could really feel the occasional hiccup, especially when you wanted to throw in an extra powerful well. :56 and the rotation at 1:00 were larger examples of this. Compared to the ultra flow of stuff at places like :50 - :53, and 1:08, and it makes it difficult to piece together a coherent pattern, which can be important for things like finding music, which did seem like it might've been a struggle on this one.
But that's not to take away from all of the really cool moments that you always play around with, like the fact that you seem to have kramuals and MJ pinches down to a science, both things that I always have so much trouble executing in a clean fashion.

ITS ONLY TEENAGE WASTELAAAAAAAAAAAND
Awesome stuff from who I'd definitely say is one of the modern kings of manuquirk/integration. Your style is similar enough to those of people like Georg and Opal to lend it some professionalism, but distinctive enough from anyone else's to call it your own and to do the crazy innovative shit you do within it. Keep doing what you're doing; I'm loving what you've been thinking up.

Holy crap you use kramuals better than I do you clever sneaky bastardly beaver
This song is the best song. I have been rocking to it for years. This track fits it so well, and the song fits the track. That's a hard combination to achieve, and hard to differentiate between as it is. The flow was there. God, how it was there. And the line angles are about as aesthetic as boobs. Okay? Look, you either watch Crust, or you watch Crowe. Okay, honestly Crowe wins there BUT Crust comes in second place which is just like first place but with more modesty. Which you seem to have a lot of.
I enjoyed my boobs off at this.

Re: Crust
I've been struggling with what to write for this track. Some people say the integration was off the charts, some people say it flows really well, some people say the recycling was amazing... I'm probably just ignorant but the track just falls flat for me. The flow feels... well, it just feels like BAM, and then slow down, and then BAM, and then slow down. AKA it doesn't feel like it flows at all to me. The recycling feels more like "look at me do this thing that's really hard to do" than like, anything that flows or means anything to anyone who's not a quirker. And the integration... I'm trying really hard not to sound like Purtle and not like it for no reason at all, but I just can't bring myself to like it and I don't know why. Maybe I'm tired of integration? Maybe I don't feel like the song fits? Maybe it feels forced to me for some reason? When I compare this to Georg's tracks though, I feel like it's night and day. Maybe it's the rotation? Maybe it's the smoother speed variation? I dunno.
So this is like, really terrible because I don't want to just not like this track (or any track) for no reason, but I can't figure out what it is about it that other people seem to like. Feel free to help me out with a reason I might feel this way. Or throw rotten tomatoes at my face. Sorry.

Re: Crust
Really? Seems like I tend to focus on short bits of track rather than the whole thing (I think so at least). I've never noticed that untill you pointed it out Or maybe you're just wrong. I simply cannot tell how good or bad my tracks are
Also, why does everyone keeps comparing me to georgio he's way beyond me it's obvious my tracks aren't as good as his lol
