OFFICIAL - LCC ENTERING CONTEST (Disc/info)

Hi faithful IRtL members and trackmakers!
This contest has been something we've put off for a long time, and it's about time we do it. I came up with it while IRtL was still up and we had a bunch of people who seemed to be sort-of-worthy for LCC. However, since we've decided to restart LCC membership for temp IRtL and beyond, this contest has more and more opportunities.

The object is simple. Make the best darn track ever, and you could get into the LCC!
Obviously, LCC members and LRLs cannot enter, since they already have access to the section and will be judging. The non-LCC staff will not have any say in the outcome, so this is not skewed in any way. It is simply the best judging who is an equal.
You have until Sunday, August 9th to get your entry in (post it in the other thread), and that date will not budge if I have anything to say about it. The track has to be released between today and that day, but it doesn't matter when you start it. This measure is just in place to determine that you haven't quit Line Rider a long time ago and just used to be awesome

Somewhere around the beginning of August 10th atlantic time (my time zone), I will close this thread and open a thread in the LCC section explaining how voting works. In general, it will say that they should vote more on the track than what they know about the abilities of the person, although they have the right to vote as they please, and to report any sort of bribery or anything like that to the staff members and not to be influenced by it. People who try to gain votes this way will be disqualified without warning.
When the first round of LCC/LRL voting is over (undetermined time), I will open a voting results discussion page for people to mope and cheer and whatever, just to involve the members to make it more interesting.

ASSUMED FAQ:

Q) Will this be anonymous?
A) No, because then it would leave me voting with different standards than the other LCC members, since I would know whose is whose (since I'm running it). Also, it would make this thing damn impossible to run. While it would be nice, it's still a no.

Q) Why can't non-LCC LRLs enter? I mean, they could just want LCC to show that they still got it, you know?
A) We assume that if an LRL isn't LCC, it means that they aren't active enough. Besides, we need as many voters as we can get, and it makes it a lot easier if we don't have some of the same people voting as entering.

Q) How will the polls be seeded? Or will it just be in one big poll?
A) It will be put into a few polls to prevent boredom in the people voting, but all the polls will be multiple choice. There will be a guideline for how many choices to choose, it won't all be in one set of polls. Otherwise it won't be as exciting
It'll probably be seeded using random.org.

Q) How many people will get into LCC?
A) As many as the LCCers think are worthy, although it'll probably be capped at around 5.

No, sorry, solo tracks only. However, LCC is for collabs, so it's possible that you'll get in for scenery skills alone (i.e. you shouldn't be concerned too much about the track part if you don't think you're very good in that aspect).

Dang. xDI have to tell Hkay his collab most wait even longer.

So just to confirm, we cannot enter a collab. EG- one track maker, and
one scener, since the two sections generally are different from each
other, and if there is a scened and naked playback on each, couldn't
you grade one pereson in the collab on the scenery skill, then the
other person on the naked playback?
Also, all the videos must be released after the time you posted this thread, so no old tracks?

This could go so wrong though. Like if barely anyone but newbs enter. Also, i guess you did save yourself by saying you could get into LCC. If you said you would that would be a problem. I mean..because people who should have LCC would technically have it .

what style is lcc looking for.... just anything entertaining?

Any style Bacon, just show off your best skill in either scening, trackmaking or both.

If you make two separate videos, one for only the track, and one for only the scenery (i.e. only scenery with no track, which would be quite the bother to watch) then I'm happy. Otherwise, just release your own track pl0x.

We can promote people to LCC for scenery alone. If we think the scenery is more worthy than your competitors tracks despite that their tracks are a little better, you have a good chance of getting promoted.
