Track consistancy Empty Track consistancy

Post by theacp127 Thu Aug 29, 2013 9:24 pm

I've made about 4 half finished tracks so far, and I'm really getting bugged out my trouble with not keeping the style consistent (or at least coherent). Like I'll start off with a couple good manuals and some quirk then randomly go into a short high speed or xy. Any good advice on avoiding this? Not keeping the track consistant looks so ugly, which means I don't want to realise any of my work. :|

Release all of it like a huge crap on a toilet, then finish the one you like the most.

Well I could do that, but I still won't have anything good later on either if I can't stop my problem.

Make sure you know what you're doing when you start off. Style, speed? The trick (teehee) is not to think in terms of tricks only. I hope this helps.

Or you could just do whatever you want and enjoy making lines. :P Rather that worry about keeping a consistent, coherent style all throughout.

One thing I do to keep styles consistent though is to make a new track every time I'm inspired to make a different style, and then just continue the respective track's style whenever I'm inspired to do so.
