I pop the stream and chat out and use both in a separate window, and then make the page window small enough that I don't see the chat twice.

80% of the time, even if someone is streaming, I just use the chat on the side of the site.

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who knows its there. :P

I go back and forth between the stream page and the sidebar chat, depending on what I'm doing. Never use the small embed stream, though.

I usually prefer to go to the livestream page so I can listen in case someone is talking, but the chat on the side of the forum is nice to be a sign of whether anyone is online. I never really pay attention and never use the mini stream window, if I'm going to have it on I just go to livestream.com
