I accidentallied my localhost folder

This is a story of a boy.
Boy plays Lr back in the day
boy loses all files
boy rage quits
boy comes back
boy tries to get good
boy's sister downloads bloatware
father and son decide to clean up computer while we fix her problem
Son reminds dad he wants to backup localhost to drive
son clicks "fix issues" on computer cleaning tool
son realizes and stops it right at start
cleaner's first task was to clean out all cache related files
LR stuff is gone
boy cries and throws fit
boy restores windows to an earlier date
directories are there
files are not
boy ragequits for about 15 minutes
boy comes back

Expect me to not have anything for a while. I lost a lot of work. I'm trying to get all my collabs back. I will contact you if I need somebody to relink me stuff. My garbage compilation is now not a thing that can happen, and nor is my contest compilation. Most of my experimental work is gone.
My almost finished entry to the weird contest is gone. I am making it top priority to get it back in asap and this time at least it will be better.
My anni release lost progress.
I lost about 35 seconds of CF2/Limitations level XY, 45 seconds of 45, 15-20 seconds of XYZ, all of my garbage collection stuff...

I hate it when stuff like this happens. I've just become paranoid enough to where I back everything up anyways. Have got a flash drive entirely dedicated to back-up .sols.

I store my .sols outside my localhost folder unless I am actively working on them, and every time I finish a session I throw a .sol in the trash. When I empty the trash, I take all of the .sols out and put them in a backup folder. Backup folder is like 1 GB of .sols

I'm probably one of the few people who has never lost work this way after years of playing. But I can imagine it sucks.

you can rightclick your appdata folder and restore to a previous version, it's what i have to do a lot of the time.

yonanjo I tried that stuff. I'm quite savvy. it is all lost. think partition wiping lost.
