You'll need to make it longer than that if you want to have the top few people be more than a tenth of a second away from each other

I didn't want to make it too long because that would be boring, so I geared towards a course that everyone can beat (I made an entry in like 10-15 minutes )
and it just may get down to individual frames (which I will measure) but I think it'll be tricky when you can't see what other people did

Ktk entered, and I believe he is in first... but the .sol crashes for me. I'm trying to bug some people to time it for me.

Re: DOWNWARD Speed Contest [over - watch the video!]
well... you sent me the .sol...
EDIT: oh you mean the 6.7 standalone. Well, here: http://mhenr18.com/hax - right click on 6.7 and save it, then open it in a browser. The .sol is in the same place except the last folder is called "localhost"
EDIT: Ktk takes the lead!!! I think this contest will end in about a week. Post if you're working on an entry or plan on entering!

Re: DOWNWARD Speed Contest [over - watch the video!]
ok this is going to be really stupid but if i trie to acsess the sol. file once i've found it how do i put it on the version of offline linerider im using because there isn't any videos on youtube that help
Re: DOWNWARD Speed Contest [over - watch the video!]
instead of putting it in the linerider.com folder you put it in the localhost folder. If you don't have one, make one.

i don't use linerider.com i have the adobe flash version of it and whenever i download a sol. file it comes up as savedlines.sol with the icon as a document with the adobe flashplayer sign in bthe midle of the file

Re: DOWNWARD Speed Contest [over - watch the video!]
I'll probably try this one too, but the fact that this isn't all blue is letting me think this is less fun. It's just racing down. But hey, if ktk did something awesome, this might become fun (kind of wondering what his time is, are we not allowed to know the times of other entries?)

It's folder...(get ready for this) named "localhost"
It should be in the same location as the linerider.com folder.

Yeah if I get beaten I'll have to do a new method because the method I did was unacceptably slow
