The domain expires January 6th 2012.
I'd be happy to buy it as long as it's up for a reasonable price. (Most likely will be around $12)

It's up to you guys.

I think it renews itself each year man.

Rabid (among other people) have tried before, and will probably try again.

Yes, this is unfortunately true. We've been dying for that domain for a long time.

The offer is much appreciated, though. Thumbs Up

I've been on it before, I don't really miss it either, though it kind of, would have been fun to be a member on there.

I definitely remember IRtL being astronomically better, but that might be because of a few reasons:

1. The site was A LOT more active

2. It had a great SB

3. The overall presentation of the site was far superior

Hockeydude, domains dont work like that.
Not only is it self-renewing, but domain name providers keep their domains.

When it expires, the host will keep the domain and wait a while, normally 3 months. After then, the person who bought it through the host will lose control of the domain and ownership is transferred to the host. The host then puts tons of ads on a new site that the domain is set to point to and then they put the domain up for sale, for a much higher cost which gets calculated based on the domain's previous popularity.
