Updates & stuff!

If you google "I Ride the Lines" we come up fourth! yay!!!

But seriously guys, we need more people to realize this is here. Advertise! Put annotations in your videos and/or links in descriptions. Don't go to a random forum and spam advertisements, and don't post a thread if that's against the rules at the site, but it doesn't hurt to mention how awesome this site is whenever you're somewhere else (and you can put it as "my website" on forums too)

I've been trying to contact TD, and so far no luck. I've called every number and tried every email I can get my hands on (I don't know his gmail, maybe someone could give me that?) I promise to keep everyone updated if I get ahold of him. If I do, I'll see if he can possibly:
- get the old site up with all the old posts (and maybe give me the root account's password)
- get the old site up with no old posts (and maybe give me the root account's password)
- get the vBulletin forum back up and give me the IRidetheLines account password to put other stuff back
- give me information about hosting/setting up a site
- link the "forum" link off www.iridethelines.com (still up) to this new site (hopefully this can be done first thing)

On my/our (staff) to-do list is:
- overhauling the GFX on here from some of the stuff in the GFX section sticky (if you give me decent GFX you get rep btw )
- making double-rank images to make artificially stacked ranks (hedge says he can do this and keep the scan bars)
- writing the guide to IRTL (it'll be short & informative, promise. I bet you'll learn something from reading it)
- re-writing the "history of IRTL"
- putting lots of movies in the "old featured movies" sticky
- putting old movies in the "premium tuts" section (since you guys have been lazy about putting up your old tuts )
(there may also be a contest coming soon, just for fun)

I was gone for this last week (and didn't say anything because bad things happen when I leave and tell everyone) but this week I have loads of free time, so I should be able to do this stuff.

For those of you who haven't been to the RPG lately, hedge is doing a kick-butt job with it - there are all sorts of stuff like monsters, potions, realms, furniture, and sexy assistants () I encourage you to check it out if you're bored, even if you just read through some of the threads to see what happened like I did (the golden dragon thread is hilarious/awesome )

Also, remember that the deadline for the LCC entry contest is August 9th! that's 2 weeks from Sunday

And finally, I would like to remind everyone to vote and enter in MOTW! Seriously, I know the entries are there, and I know the voters are there, people are just forgetting that MOTW exists. (we had 5 entries and 17 votes in 2 weeks >.>) You get rep if you enter (if there are <7 tracks), and we won't insult you or look down on you if your track isn't amazing

I remember there was one shadowninja did, i don't know if it was a video or mostly typing though.

Do you have Dapoe's Manual tutorial as well?
xnt had some and so did znf as well. So you could maybe check their channels?

Didn't we already have some threads where people posted the best tutorials and the old featured movies? Also I know a couple of forums which may be interested in LR so I could try and get some followers from there (without spamming )

At least this site is progressing, and, even though the Old Irtl isn't up yet, I think most of us are starting to treat it like (or close to) the same as we would on the normal Irtl.

This new icons for threads are a tad annoying.

Why would you need/want the root admin password? Isn't it TD's job to make his site like he would want it? >_>

Otherwise, the updates here are pretty cool, nice job.

TD is non-existant, and it literally never online anymore. So... he needs to resign from his job (well, not like I have any control - if he is willing he can, if not so be it)
