It's better than MJ because it has a LOT of variety, and I had to pick my jaw up off the floor afterwards.

But I do kind of agree with aspi, the recording looks sped up

And who -repped MJ for that comment? (+rep to make it even again) I want to leave MJ out of this discussion. Why is he being compared to every XY track nowadays?

And as for those who think the recording is sped up. It isn't. The color recording is because, as I said, the track needed to finish at the same time as the song obviously. As for the regular recording, it's completely normal. Recorded it on my comp and all. There's a ton of lag because of the eye now though But I assure you it is regular speed.

Backstory about myself no one wants to hear: I actually started considering doing line rider around February this year, and I still didn't know what kind of track style I would go with. And then I looked at IRTL one day and saw Rebirth. WOW. Dude, you're actually the person who inspired me to do XYs. And now that I've done some small ones, and I couldn't really find any inspiration to get better, this came along, nuff said. Grats Votale, you've uber inspired me twice.

I remember you posting this in a trash track video you made, and I was wowed by that. I'm really glad you continued it.

My fave part in this track was probably the left highspeed section, and I also liked the box granual. This track is just plain win. I can't say anything more.

I'll never be as good as this.

But seriously, you dont compare every new scenery track to BS so it dont really make sense comparing votale to MJ. Especially since their styles are different.

that was most defininatly the most creative and outstanding XY to date.

I don't usually like XYs but this one really stood out from the rest.

tbh, this xy track had alot of good shizzles in it, and I LUV SHIZZLES(wait wut)!!!!!!! when i saw the extended xy high speed part i was like (well actually no, the eyeballs has to explode) it was extremely entertaining and it had some interesting ways of propelling the rider. the skill was definetly there, but not like HOLY [I am a potty mouth] skills, just... skills! this is a great example of how the track can look good with simple tricks :3

Not to sound like a smart ass, but these aren't really simple tricks. If you call an evolving alt chain roll and tricks like that easy, then yes, you are right LineRage.

sorry for double post, i just gotta say this before i do my hw.
I think tracks like this is great, it really opens your eyes to new things, but i also think that this is why people are quitting. track makers constantly pushes the bar higher and higher until the weakest cannot keep up, therefore they quit because they feel that those other people are too good. I don't know if this is the case, but it's how i interpret it. What happens in the future, if there's a track that's 2x better than this? what will happen to all the new people? they would obviously be pushed out and flamed by the audience(other than the extremely nice people, like aspi33 or something) before, even near the christmas of 2009, there was probably alot more tracks getting published, and the skill level is obviously lower. I suppose i might be over reacting to this, and that this is how every game is supposed to be like. It doesnt feel like a game anymore, it feels like a race. i like trackmaking, and people commenting on my stuff, and that is why im still playing.

to all the TL;DR people, herroes

EDIT: toward votale's post, you only had about three of them in the track, im talking about the general picture. Like... okay i didnt wanna mention mj, but u made me votale ( ) , he makes the rider get affect at like, almost every frame most of the time, and that is pretty hard, but obvuzly not as hard as ur alt chain rolls (no sarcasm, i think). a normal epic track should be like, with vision-like tricks, and obvuzly that is ubber hard.

Lol I'll let the track speak for itself. The tricks portrayed in here weren't meant for speed.

And the issue which you address can go either direction. You could say that tracks that push the bar higher make people leave, but what would we do without tracks pushing the bar higher? We wouldn't make any progress at all. People wouldn't find inspiration without tracks like that. Making great tracks doesn't mean the making is a jerk. There are some people in this community (Namely people like W_S, TigerLine, HG42, etc.) that encourage the new guys. These kinds of tracks don't discourage them. When I was new to LR I saw tracks like End of the World and Millennium and always said "WOW! I want to make something like that one day." That's what pushed me to make LineRider tracks. So there are two sides to the issue.

I wouldn't have given it out so quickly after the release if I wasn't completely sure. It's not only really fun, but also a masterpiece. seriously.

Oh and it's the only naked XY with a shoe that places it above vibrato/digital frenzy/fluid karma/XX XY/Nocturnal in my book
