What do you guys think about a new wave of tutorials?
There are not very many Line Rider tutorials out there. Many of them are scenery tutorials from 2008, how to do super basic stuff like manuals and gravity wells, or just weird silent videos of someone making an alt fling or something like that. But I haven't seen any recent tutorials in a long time. I think kramwood made one sort of recently? Either way I certainly haven't seen many. Line rider is evolving very fast, especially in the last few years, as we don't have much in terms of showing how to do advanced things. We have Antons little corner which is awesome, but it's probably the most technical tutorials/explanations we have right now and we don't have anything leading up to that. We also have things like Rabid Learns Quirk which is also great, but it doesn't serve as a tutorial, really. It's fun to watch, but it's hard to learn anything because of how long the videos are and how much joking around happens in them as well.
I would love to have some tutorials made with good commentary that just explain the fundamentals of advanced line rider. Maybe a few on kramuals to explain how to do basic ones and how to send him through the line. Maybe a few on more conceptual ideas like the fundamentals of flow. And what if they aren't even really tutorials as much as they are about the game? It would be sweet to have a few videos about the history of Line Rider and how it has progressed as a game.
I'm mostly thinking out loud because over the three day weekend I have coming up, I may try to make one. What do you guys think? I want to spearhead a small project to get as many tutorials out as possible. If you think it's a good idea and would like to help, let me know!

That would be awesome. A few of us have been chatting on the skype chat and I am hearing lots of positive things about the idea. Chuggers and Dap want to help with a few I know. Also, @rabid squirrel, Chuggers agreed with me about a history of linerider series would be awesome. I think he said something like "a ten part series over the history of line rider would be awesome." What are your thoughts on that? Would you be willing to help?

Hm. It will be difficult impossible to tell a history dealio without bias. I'm currently sort of working on it with the LRL bios but that's on hold while I work on the archive. Eventually though I definitely do want to do some videos on the history of Line Rider though I haven't started thinking about them yet since they're so far down to to-do list. I'd be willing to help someone else in whatever capacity they'd like though.

Update on these tutorials I'm talking about. I have most of the first one I want to make done now. I just have to record voice over stuff for it and I'll post it. The first one (I might split it into three) will be about the basics of contact points, gravity wells, and basic flings.
