Hey now, I'm not a fan of what Rafael says, but when he respects you enough and is mature enough to say what he has to say in a PM instead of through a post, you should probably do likewise. Keep it between the two of you. Respect Raf's confidentiality at the very least. Again, he probably didn't have to go balls-out with his PM, but that's exactly what it was: a Private Message.

If someone flamed you in a PM I would encourage you to tell me.

I don't consider flaming mature, and I consider it worse when it's done in private.

That's true. I guess my problem is releasing the whole PM, rather than just saying "Hey, so-and-so flamed me." Eh, I don't know. I've had some days where I've been pissy, so I just have Stockholm Syndrome.

Yeah, I usually don't publish PMs like that (and even now I didn't really publicize it - only to the LCC) but I thought I'd rather do that than just ignore it, or post here and whine about how he flamed me.

I guess I can say to rafael:
1. I'm sorry I didn't thank you, I'm not in the best mood myself
2. I offered to record and edit if you didn't have time - look earlier in this thread. I wish I had been able to do it before you did the majority of the editing.
3. I'm a perfectionist (read: EoLR) I know that those green lines will bug me forever just like that sloppy XY section in EoLR does.

Yes. I've been flamed by people as well, but as least I still have the respect not to post it online for everyone to see. You know me well enough to know that me in the PM wasn't the normal me. I was extraordinarily frustrated and I don't think I've ever written this angry to anybody, and you were 100% aware of that. Instead of going on the confrontation with me you decide to post it here and make be look like I'm 100% the bad guy. That, is low and coward.

We are all responsible for our actions. I've had my perspective on someone I thought I knew online completely changed in a matter of hours. I don't think anyone can really know anyone very well over the internet.

Yes I know nobody will think what I did was right, but this isn't about my reputation - it's about you and what you did, and I'm trying to teach you that you can't be that mean to someone and think it's ok just because it's in private.

You think you can teach me that by posting the PM here? The PM was unnecessarily mean, and I apologize for that, but you think THAT is the way of telling me that instead of talking directly to me?
And I didn't change in a matter of hours. I've been trying to get the password for the LCC youtube for several weeks. I've PM'd LineBeast, AC, Wolf, I've even contacted Hedge, but you were the only one that could change it and you were gone for an unknown amount of time (no offence, that was the case). I'm pretty sure you know how frustrating that is.
Then you finally come online, and everything you say is negative, and that I have to redo part of it. I do so, I work my ass off just to meet your requirements.
Then I almost break my leg and my nose on football training and I come home, TOTALLY pissed off at everyone and everything, I turn on the computer, and I see your response to my work is "I'll do it for myself from now on".
I'm not saying it's right what I did, and I know you didn't know al this, but I hope you can understand why I wrote the PM.
