Re: WCC Project: Forest Scenery (formerly EB3 Staff track)
so yoban is busy with other things so I'm gonna say this is sorta open for the moment
but this next split will need some planning so whoever takes it next should talk to me and stuff.

let's chat soon. you have a skype? or facebook? or somewhere where I can chat with you besides wrtl chatbox?
Re: WCC Project: Forest Scenery (formerly EB3 Staff track)
Yobanjojoe is working on this! Sketching out some stuff in AC's hellishly circular-curve-ridden part.
Re: WCC Project: Forest Scenery (formerly EB3 Staff track)
Yobanjojoe has not really made any progress on this, so I'm opening it back up. I did some sketches of ideas. HMU if you want to work on it.
Re: WCC Project: Forest Scenery (formerly EB3 Staff track)
Added a note to the OP: I plan to ask my patrons for money for this project, and I plan to post the final product on my patreon a couple days before I post it publicly.
Still planning on finishing this, if anyone is interested in working on it let me know.

doot doot
got this merged into one save, thanks to Conundrumer
since it looks like I'll be doing most of the work on this project going forward, I took a sledgehammer to all the stuff that in my opinion didn't fit with the first 40% that wolf_spirit made. This effectively got rid of acp's and yoban's parts, and about a third of getthim's. In total I'd say about 15-20% of the scenery was erased, about 12,000 lines. Most of it was a combination of too detailed in places and too bare in others, but it also really lost the forest/vegetation theme when we just had grass and mesas and rivers everywhere.
I also used LRA and hit test to get rid of any lines that weren't used to improve the ease of scening.

Next up is touching up, improving, and/or finishing the existing scenery. Including wolf's, since I don't have to worry about overlap issues, yay! After that I'll start on some sketches for the remaining section, which may be something like these sketches I made a while back:

I'm giving it my best shot. Patreon really does a lot for motivation. I'll make sure to give you and Getthim a cut of the money once I finish
Re: WCC Project: Forest Scenery (formerly EB3 Staff track)
this is chugging along
in the last month or so I've drawn enough that I'm now significantly past the completion % the project was at when I erased a bunch of the scenery June 2016 up there ^
pics on my social media, links in my sig if you're interested
hoping to finish by the end of the month, maybe a tad optimistic but totally doable
will still go on the LCC channel when completed
