LAOTM #44 - Entering
Information- Anyone can enter a screenshot
- If less than 5 screenshots are entered, the thread will remain open until the next month.
- Entries are capped at 10 each month. (to avoid having lots of entries at first and then less and less later)
- Be aware that entering also gives consent for the possibility of being featured in a LAOTM winners video on youtube. All credit is given to the creator of the artwork of course.
Rules- It must be a screenshot of a version of Beta 2 or Beta 3
- No part of the screenshot must have ever been entered before (this includes on the old IRTL)
- You must have made at least part of the screenshot, and you must credit anyone else who took part in making it (e.g. credit the trackmaker of the track you're scening). However, trackmakers will not be rewarded.
- You may only enter one screenshot per week
- It must NOT be edited, (even if the track is an editing track!) other than resizing, cropping, or "stitching" together parts of a track. If we don't believe you, we may ask for the .sol.
- Tweakwindow/Powermenu are STRICTLY against the rules. If we see anything that looks suspicious we will probably not give you the benefit of the doubt. (Advice: don't copy a picture in any way )
- You MUST PM CommanderCoke your entry. Entries posted in this thread will be disqualified.
- Do NOT post that you have or will be entering. Entries are intended to be secret until voting begins.
Instructions- You must PM Commandercoke your entry! Still use the following code.
Use this form:
Add on other usernames in a similar manner if more than one person worked on the artwork or track.
This should appear as plain text, do not remove the [code.][/.code] tags or your entry will be ignored. Also make sure to remove the {}s (but NOT the []s).
Don't be afraid to enter. It's not only about winning. It's about keeping a fun contest alive. Share your artwork.

Re: LAOTM #44 - Entering
I can try to get the line rider app for my iPad (I'm on vacation), take a snapshot of the artwork, post it to imgur and give a link.
Would you accept that?
EDIT: And who's the one entry from?

You're supposed to keep entries confidential by PMing them to CC. This is so that really good entries don't scare people away.

Oh come on, there's been so much line art created in the last few days how can this only have one entry. I'm going to start taking screenshots of youtube and entering for people

seriously? it's not like it takes more then 5 minutes to open a track, take a screenshot, and enter it. Too busy to do that?Helios Pavonine wrote:Maybe everyone's busy playing LR/having a life.rabid squirrel wrote:Oh come on, there's been so much line art created in the last few days how can this only have one entry. Re: LAOTM #44 - Entering
In my case it takes more than 5 mins because I don't want someone else to win as well and I'm way too lazy to do that.rabid squirrel wrote:seriously? it's not like it takes more then 5 minutes to open a track, take a screenshot, and enter it. Re: LAOTM #44 - Entering
Isn't LAOTM about showing your own art? Besides, I don't think I have permission to show part of someone else's scenery and I'm not sure if I'm alllowed to show my own as well.Georgio_jc wrote:Helios Pavonine wrote:In my case it takes more than 5 mins because I don't want someone else to win as well and I'm way too lazy to do that.rabid squirrel wrote:seriously? it's not like it takes more then 5 minutes to open a track, take a screenshot, and enter it. Re: LAOTM #44 - Entering
Would entering a picture of a bare track count as "abstract art"? If I have to I'll enter the cruddy thing I did in the CSP just so there is a contest

Re: LAOTM #44 - Entering
HP's post confuses me. People are busy playing LR and having a life?
Wouldn't that first part contradict your argument? .-.
