Or maybe something where changes can be thumbed up or down by reg'd users. I don't know what's possible with that software, I need to make an account, so I can make a page:

In all seriousness though, it's sad that anything that can be edited by the public will be vandalized. Either proactive users re-edit tagged pages if security is low, or a group of admins gets sucked into a edit-authorization black hole timesink if security is high. It's all about finding a system that works for the popularity and activity of the wiki without making it too difficult on the most involved or invested users.

The first one is spam, the second one is vandalism, IMO. Other vandalism could be breaking the formatting, or making a bunch of useless or misdirecting links. In RL I like vandalism as art (Banksy FTW), but vandalism rarely serves a similar purpose online. Most of that is just people with too much time on their hands.
