Doing animation in linerider the easy way
This was my method for creating the animation in Funspiration which is quite easy and doesn't take a whole lot of time to do (if doing simple stuff that is)
1: make sure you are using Kevens' lr version 3.4.x which allows you to to pause the track while it's playing along with a few other tools which makes this method possible.
2: make sure bosh is going fast enough for animation to work (over 100ppf minimum for tiled animation or 250ppr plus, or fast enough for bosh to skip ahead 1 full screen or more each frame)
3: hit 'ctrl' play or go to options and click on enable playback tools while you play the track to allow you be able to draw scenery lines while the track is playing
4: press '[' to pause the track (for non us keyboards it should be the key to the right of the letter 'p'.
5: press ']' (just to the right of '[' on us keyboards) to allow flashplayer to move the track forward 1 frame at a time until you get to the frame where you want to start scening.
6: press']' again when ready to scene the next frame in the animation.
7: keep going until you're satisfied with your animation.
Example: pause the track, draw a line, move the track forward 1 frame, draw another line slightly off the position of the previous frame, and keep going. When played at normal speed, it will look like that line is moving.
Let me know if you have any questions or comments about this.
