suggestion: a way to turn off flag lock while in play mode (does this already exist?)

played through a whole minute of track only to find out I couldn't make the flag because flag lock was on

If flag lock is on, holding shift allows you to still use it.

Also I do apologize for not getting this update out as soon as I can, I've been enjoying my leave time and not working, will be going to comic con tomorrow.

I hate how the camera goes back to where the flag is when you press the stop button. It's a pain to have to pan back to where I'm trying to draw lines

EDIT: nvm it stopped doing it, probably a bug?

I'm using a Mac with FP9 atm, and some shortcuts don't work. Shift+backspace isn't working, along with holding spacebar to move around your track. Also shift + play doesn't make Bosh appear at the adjusted zoom and a + play doesn't make him start from the beginning if you have a flag off. I also tried FP14 but got the same result. In other versions some of those options work, but not all. Any ideas about what may be wrong? I'm using the MacBook from my mum and it's a guarded computer from her work, can that have anything to do with it? It could also be that I have to download something as fundamental as Java, because my mum doesn't ever download or update anything :P

UPDATE: 07 Sep 2014 Download link in OP.

Changed/Fixed:

Fixed zoom not being able to jump to 50.
Changed status text time to a frame counter instead of relying on internal time.
Multi-joint snapping now possible.
Fixed bug concerning pencil only being usable in specific box.
Preview line now shows color depending on pencil type.
Name is now 3.4.x since due to these frequent updates, I have no fricking clue what to call this anymore. previous 3.4.3 is still available in mass build list.

Added:

Tapping shift while drawing will toggle collision side of line during drawing, does not interfere with holding shift to draw line.

Awesome Kev! I've got a cool new idea as well. What if you have like a 'recording mode' that you can toggle on and off. If you toggle it on all the tools disappear when you press play and so do the fps counter/speed meter/time meter etc. This way you can record perfectly without any distracting visuals, and you can just stop playing by pressing "U".

Well there is already a way to toggle the toolbar and text on and off, it's just a manual switch in the settings menu.

I checked it out and there is no option to remove the text at the top right corner in play mode. I'd love it if that was possible Smile

You'll see a box that says "full text". Clicl the arrows until it says "hide text" to make the text invisible during playback. "Minimal" will make it so only the fps is displayed.

Will check Getthim when I have a chance, at airport right now :P

This has nothing to do with the water mark, but for some reason my game shows 24fps when it's clearly running at 40.

EIDT:

Okay, so you know how the first number that shows up when first press play is never 40 and is always something either ridiculously lower or higher? The first number that shows up after opening and playing my track gets stuck there.

This version also kind of trolls while making manuals if you try to redo a line while drawing one. You have to press shift+delete to redo a line so when you press shift it flips the line over xD

I've been meaning to replace the redo/undo system with a more efficient keyboard shortcut. Thanks for the video btw. Can you tell me what happens when you set the text to 'minimal' and 'hide'?

Download available in OP and mass build list.

Changed/Fixed

-Kramwoods FPS/Watermark bug
-FPS now more accurate
-Green lines will now show up as green to reflect the new preview lines
-Watermark is now saved as per user
-Changed undo/redo shotcuts to Backspace - and backspace + respectively.

Added
-Corrected start toggle: Fixes the initial movement towards the right bosh has on a fresh start. Setting saved as per track. This setting will break older tracks and has mandatory saving and loading. If track does not work due to this setting, simply toggle the setting in the options menu and save the track.

Isn't there a way for you to automatically set this? As in, whatever it is saved as is the way it loads as, but any new tracks fix the start movement when they start? Although I guess maybe people might want to make a track with the movement at start. Maybe just not allow it to be changed once it's been saved once and have it automatically select on load?

This update lags like a bitch. it only runs at 5fps on my end. no other version does. Also the track is invisible if you play the track from a saved flag point.

I get very frequent crashes now, within 2 minutes of opening

also, I hatehatehatehatehatehate having the undo button moved

not seeing any of Kram's problems
