Today I Realized

We've been a community for 6... 7 years? I can't validate that information at all, I'm taking a shot in the dark here. Anyway today I was thinking about the site in general and everyone still here, and I find it kind of fascinating that we've all been here for so long, and we're still having contests and enjoying each others tracks, inspiring each other, and strengthening friendships.. in a way. There's no doubt we've grown a lot as a community since it's inception long ago. We've all also grown on a personal level over the years and that's reflected in many ways here.... such as the off-topic section. Yeah... But if you think about it, you've been with all of the members here for a very long time and we've been through quite a lot. Regardless if we've never seen each other and it may just be an internet relationship, it's not much different from a real friendship you'd have with a real friend. One you could go to when you're feelin' down in the dumps, having issues at home, in school, or with life, or just to chill 'cause bored. My point is, is that we've been together for a long time through difficult times/not-so-difficult times and the people here make the community what it is. So here's to all the years we've been together, to the hard times, the not hard times, and the future. I look forward to making many more memories with each (well most of) you. The community wouldn't be what it is without you. So thank you keep ridin' those lines. keep riding dem. WRtL loves you (that doesn't make sense.)

It's been (nearly) seven years already?

What have i been doing with my life

IRtL was my childhood, I joined when I was 11, I stayed there until it closed. Even now after I've "quit" I check here regularly, I just only post when I feel I need to speak.

Anyways, being my child hood, this place is a special part of me. I'll never forget this place, and I'll probably still be around until it's completely closed. Line Rider isn't my thing anymore, and watching most tracks (being all quirks, no scenery) is boring, but the community is special. I miss IRtL.

I know exactly how you feel. Maybe not a part of this community because I started at .org. Then when that place died we migrated to IRtL and now here. Most of the people I'm truly closest to in life are people from these forums. (Shout out to AC) (Purtle, we need to talk more again) I consider most of you friends because we share a few things on common. The love for Linerider. And the love for the community as a whole. Cept Rabid. Linerider and these sites used to take up so much of my time during High School. It was crazy...

Heck, I've only been with you guys for around six months now and I feel like I've been here my whole life. I'd like to take this moment to thank you all for being so welcoming and just overall awesome; I'm glad I found my niche here and was so graciously accepted into the tight-knit community. The sheer fact that some of you have been at it for half a decade or more is astounding, and I honestly look up to every one of you for your dedication. Thank you all so much for being so welcoming, especially in a community as long-standing as this one.

I'm surprised that we're still decently active atm, and I'm sure that after finals are over, it won't be as dead as it's been the past few days.

The WRtL Stream is the main reason for our success recently. I can't thank Kohuded enough for that idea.

I'm just glad I didn't wait any longer before doing it.

In middle school and early high school, there were about three people that I would call good friends. But I would come home every day to a MSN buddy list with at least 10 people online at any given time--all happy to talk to me about line rider or other games or school. There were several people I could tell more to than I could my friends in real life. You guys gave me confidence. I feared rejection less because I knew I had many friends I could talk to online when I got home. Now I have many, many people whom I would call good friends, and many close internet friendships endured. Many lifelong friendships born. You're the wind beneath my wiiiiiiiings.

Oh and I always liked playing Line Rider. It's a cool game.
