Posting Statistics

As of this post 49 users have logged in during the past 24 hours.

Since we are only half way through July, I will assume July will have 2242 posts
Taking into account that some people have not logged in recently that are on most of the time and that some are on vacation, I will say there are more than 60 people on during the month. I will just use 60 for calculations even though it may be lower.
2242 posts over 60 users equals about 37 posts a person. However, this graphic is also important.

I will shorten Ribids monthly number to 110 to account for TOC stuff going on.
Collectively, the top ten posters this month so far have made 540 posts. Since we are only half way through the month, I will assume that the top 10 posters will post 1080 by the end of the month.
This means just the top ten post 48% of all posts by 60 users. This means that the remaining 50 post about 1162 posts a month, or 23.24 posts each. However, we know that many people only make one or two posts a month, so I will average this at 8 posts a person per month.
I would also like to point out that as of the time of this post, https://iridethelines.forumotion.com/t7250-cave-of-some-return-no-scene, has only 48 views, despite having only 5 replies. Assuming the people who replied looked at the post 3 times, and that the three admins each looked at it 3 times, that would mean there were only 24 views divided among the rest of the 42 people, so almost barely over half the people looked at it only once. I can understand few replies, but not even getting looked at by much of the community it really strange.
Final note, by the end of typing this, there are still only 49 on the recently logged on list.

I'm nothing like I used to be posting wise.

Lurking would be considered reading the thread and not commenting on it. Half these people aren't even looking at the thread, though. I think that's probably the biggest point that stands out to me. Although if this were true for every thread, that would imply that people are logging in, and physically not doing anything on the site, which I find a bit strange.

I only comment if I have anything productive to say. I'm guessing most other people do also, and there's not always a need to say something.
