*shameless copypasta from youtube*

Yes, the first part sux. I realize that.
I really don't know where I was going with this one. One-half manuals, one-half fling quirk, and one half derpy flowkillers. Whatever, I'm proud of this one, my manuals (and flings) have improved significantly through all the unreleased crap I've been toying around with.

Enjoy! Criticisms and compliments are appreciated.

Definitely a manuquirk, and definitely doesn't suck. Nothing to be all that proud of, but nothing to beat yourself up over either. You's about as good as I am at flings Smile (that's not really much of a compliment, lol) But seriously, it wasn't boring to watch and I'm excited to watch you improve!

It kept me entertained throughout, but I would definitely recommend experimenting with manuals prior to quirky tricks. Over time you'll look at flings in an "every other frame" point of view rather than a generic set of gravity wells.

It's pretty clear you haven't started thinking in frames yet. Quirk will come to you over time, and much faster the sooner you think in frames, not time. (Later you'll have to be able to mentally switch between the two, although it's not difficult--it just takes some conscious effort)

Overall, a lot of the things I saw were....weird? Not necessarily in a bad way, just...weird. Your track was smooth and unsmooth at the same time.... Which I can really only describe as weird. xD

Anyhow, keep going and improving. You've got a pretty solid foot in the door, just gogogo.

Yep it's a manuquirk, because you're most likely going to have more manuals than flings. Other than that, the track was pretty good, nice flow and sync; your wells could be stronger and your curves seem alright, maybe they could be a little more smoother though. Smile

Thank you all for your suggestions and comments; I appreciate them and am heeding them as well as I can.
I have a post-it on my monitor that says "think in frames" in all caps right now. It'll be a slow process...

Make sure you know what frames are before you beat yourself up about not thinking in them xD

oh and cereal's probably right. perfect your manuals first (though they're already pretty good)

EDIT: oh and learn to look for contact points in wells! that helps a LOT

It's always nice to expand your skill and try new things, but for right now practice on getting your manuals smooth; flings also need some work.

For the flings, don't always settle on the first pull you get. It takes patience and time to get a smooth fling consisting of all the same pull (etc. spidey, foot, hand etc. etc.)
As for the track, you are definitely improving a lot. If you ever need help, don't be afraid to ask.

Keep up the awesome work bro Thumbs Up
