I'm retarded and milk is mean to me.
So.. I was eating cereal. And I spilled the milk.. All over my keyboard. I cleaned it out, and I think it should be fine, but I'm not sure (I'm on my moms PC to type this)
Second issue, as I was cleaning my keyboard, I heard sizzling.. Lo and behold, I spilled milk in my Power Bar/Strip. So I may not be able to use my PC for a while, depending on how bad the situation is. If you have any tips, feel free to tell me...

For the keyboard, you'll definitely want to take all the keys apart and make sure every trace of milk is gone. Having a smelly keyboard SUCKS.
Not sure about the power bar, though.

I cleaned out the keyboard for the most part, that was the least of my worries, I've spilled pop, water, milk, etc all over numerous keyboards. It's the power bar I'm worried about. It's had some minor liquid damage, but it's never sizzled, and I don't wanna wreck my power cords, my computers power supply, or start a fire :\

I don't think milk would cause a fire, but I'd be worried about it sending unsteady streams of power to the computer and wrecking the computer's power supply or something like that. If you want to play it safe, you should probably get a new power bar.
I'm not saying that I know it'll be bad (frankly, it's probably fine), but I don't know enough to know for certain, and I don't think you do either, so I'd play it safe. =/
Either that, or you could wait for someone who actually knows what they're talking about to post.
(Also, lol @ Cereal)

Well, if milk won't start a fire my only issue is my power supply to my pc and the extension cord to my heater. Would it matter what plugs I put them in to? (eg the milk was for sure in 2 plugs, partially a third, if I put the cords in the ones not affected would it matter?)

As it turns our Bacontown is a clown around
I spilled water on my laptop once. It was [censored] up for a minute then it was fine.

boil water
let water cool
use water to clean out power bar
let power bar dry
should be good.

I would recommend soaking the whole computer for at least 3 hours.

Unplug everything before you do this.
Buy some distilled water and a whole bunch of cans of air, and some rice, enough to submerge what ever needs to be cleaned.
Go over your sink, tub, etc. and gently pour the distilled water on the milk contaminated parts, repeat a few times if you think it's necessary. Then, take a can of air and blow dry it as best as you can. After it can't get dry no more, take the rice and pour it into a container big enough for said part, and take said part and fully submerge it into the rice. Wait for a day. If nothing was damaged when the milk was spilled (I.E. the sizzling), then the part should now be as good as new.
Distilled water: found at any convenience store or walmart/target
Can of air: Commonly found at hardware stores
Rice: see Distilled water.

Re: I'm retarded and milk is mean to me.
Or just spend $15 and get a new one and not risk killing yourself when unplugging the power bar .
Sizzling = no bueno, happened to me before, luckily I had a wet towel near, my power bar shot up in flames.

Re: I'm retarded and milk is mean to me.
I would think taking it to a ln honest and local computer store for testing would be advisable. Better safe than sorry.

Well, I did what Kevan said minus the rice as I had none, but I cleaned it out with distilled water, and then used a can of air to blow it all out, and then I left it upside down to let any other water hopefully drip out or something. And Rev, I would, but Wal-mart is far away, I have no car, my parents would get pissed and rage at me if I told them, and I don't have a lot of money
Inb4 get a job and license.
EDIT: Inb4 they'd prefer getting a new one than lighting their house on fire.

Hmm, I'd have thought the absorbent properties of rice would have made it a crucial part of the process. I really hope it'll be okay...now you've bathed it :-/

Yeah I know, but at least now it's just water if anything is in there, the chances of fire are far less (no sugar to burn)
And water generally dries faster than milk.

Well, I know you did your 'inb4's, but I think I'd take the rant from the parents if I were you. The damage right now is contained, and cheaply fixed. Think of what you might be risking..?

Re: I'm retarded and milk is mean to me.
Ask yo parents?
But yeah, spilled milk can damage power strips, but it won't damage your cords/hardware. It takes a lot to ruin a power cord. It won't cause a short in your power supply or anything like that--that would only really happen if you spilled milk on IT (in your case). At worst, there might be a short in the strip, in which case your stuff just gets shut off and the current just goes to the ground. But honestly it's probably fine. Give it some time to dry then try it again; first with electronics you don't really care about, like somebody else's computer.

Cant tell parents if I wanna... live. My mom already hasn't spoken to me for 3 weeks for on reason, I'd rather not tell her some bad news.

You could always remind her it's no good crying over spilt milk?
