Love Vodoo - MattBlytheTheOne
I thought I might as well post this here even though it isn't my track and it's unlikely he will be signing here or elr despite having told him about it a while back.
Anyway despite him being somewhat new to linerider I personally thought it was very creative and would love to see more tracks like this by people.
Also, I suggest you post on his youtube video instead of here so he sees it what you thought of the track.

I'm sorry, am I missing something? I don't see how this is creative...

Don't want to be an arse, but I kind of agree with this guy^.
IS the creative part that he put drew text saying what he was doing or whatever?
I liked the little flip trick thing at like 1:38-39 or so.
Re: Love Vodoo - MattBlytheTheOne
Well, if that was the creative part... Conundrumer kind of trademarked that (in a manner of speaking) with Omniverse, years ago.
Re: Love Vodoo - MattBlytheTheOne
I suppose if you have the mindset that a track always has to have advanced tricks or have perfect flow for it to be good or creative or even entertaining, then in my opinion, you're missing out and may also be why we haven't really been getting many new members.
Then again it may just be that I'm starting to get bored of always seeing the same type of advanced tricks done in different ways that it's refreshing to see something different by someone inexperienced.
Besides that, I think it requires a lot of creativity to make a track that only has beginner tricks entertaining, and this track entertained me.

Re: Love Vodoo - MattBlytheTheOne
I dunno. I didn't find it very entertaining, it didn't look like it took much work, and parts of it were slow and boring. No of course it doesn't have to have perfect flow, but this was like you took flow and stretched it out like silly putty and rammed spikes through it and dropped a wrecking ball on it. He went up a badly-done "staircase" for about 4 seconds, and stopped on a line for a full 2 seconds before bouncing off of it.
I'm sure we can find ways of making tracks creative and unique without deciding that tracks that would take us about half an hour to make are really cool.
P.S. I'm very sorry if you ever actually read this, we were all this level at Line Rider at some point. I don't mean to discourage you, but I don't think it's fair to say this track is exceptional in any way. Like you said, you were just playing around.

Re: Love Vodoo - MattBlytheTheOne
Lol, seth. You are talking like me as far as getting tired of seeing advanced tricks and tracks always seem the same.
Trust me, I get you there.
I do like seeing manual tracks and older type things that aren't done as much anymore. However, when i think of creativity, I don't think of it as a standard manual track or standard track with simple tricks. It has to have something special about it that is entertaining.
This track to me is just not entertaining enough. It doesn't keep me watching. I don't really want to repeat rabid so I won't.
I didn't really express myself well here I feel, but do with what you get i suppose.

Re: Love Vodoo - MattBlytheTheOne
I don't see why you are saying it's so creative. Just like how advance members do the same advance tricks, so do the nubs and their nub tricks. It was, in a way, interesting. Thanks for posting Seth!
I agree with PPT, I also think that their has to be something special in a track used in a way no one has done before to be creative.

I see what you mean seth, found it super entertaining aswell. 1-2-3-4 part was awesome
Re: Love Vodoo - MattBlytheTheOne
Yay, Duran duran! I think this dude is the first guy to use them.
Anyways, It was nice in sort of a nubtastic, playful way. However, I don't think people will be staying up night after night trying to top the spellbinding splendor of this track.
Hur hur hur.

Now I get a real strong deja-vu and I'm convinced of the fact that you used this before, don't you think?
I have to agree about the creativity. But, I'm also tired of all the perfect tracks that experienced riders publish about every month. They look like slaves. I'm getting the idea that they don't even have fun. I'm glad I see someone publishing a track who had fun in it.
And, slightly off-topic, perfection isn't reachable because it has a different meaning to everyone. Who agrees?

Not really.
There's a difference between, let's say, Bear Necessities, than this track. Bear Necessities was much smoother, had better flow.
Why would we expect him to know about omniverse? I think you misinterpreted. Only reason i mentioned the words part was because that was honestly the only thing that I could imagine he would think was creative about it. Everything else seemed pretty normal/average/nothing creative as far as I saw.
Has inu even done a track like that(regarding the "omg nostalgic track" type)? I don't recall such a track.
Sure, this track used simple tricks and stuff, but I don't see why it is creative. What makes it better than an "AC track" or Bear necessities. I think those tracks are better. They use the simple tricks, but they are done in a much more polished manner. The track that this thread is about to me is equivalent of a 'wow nub quirk track' compared to polished quirk tracks. However it is a 'nub simple type track' compared to the polished 'simple' tracks like Bear necessities, etc.
Sorry for using Bear Necessities and mention AC tracks @ rabid and AC. They were the first examples that came to mind.

That's like saying I invented the manual because I hadn't seen one before making one.
The old days ≠ sloppy tracks. This is a newb track. The old days are like.. Plain, but well executed scenery. Simple tricks, but used in an entertaining way.
This is in no way like "the old day".

haha thanks
Hi, I stumbled across this little video while searching for something on google lol. And I have to say I am honoured and somewhat flattered that I got a mention in here for this what I consider to be a "not very entertaining" track! Don't get me wrong, it is creative, considering it was like my 3rd attempt at LR ever, but it is a bit slow and TBH I still don't know many tricks.
With LR I got to the point where I could see the potential, but became frustrated with the details, not withstanding the fact that I have a business to run, and LR requires umpts of time and concentration. I just found it fun to explore the possibilities, and this track apparently is one of them.
Honestly that you guys are discussing this at all and intelligently represents something of a miracle.
Cheers Seth for posting, you are the man lol.
Have a great track day everyone.

Haha. Epic bump there. I'd love to see you stick around, Matt, even if you don't pursue spending (arguably wasting) a large portion of your time on Line Rider. You seem like a fungi. Also, I hope you don't feel too bad about the discussion in this thread. The ability to enjoy tracks tends to directly relate with how proficient one is with Line Rider.
P.S. You should say hi! :]

Hey! Fancy you finding this! It's nice to see you here. I've watched your track since your reply brought this right forward, and I think that you show real potential for quirk at some point. If you wanted to mess around on Line Rider, I bet you could develop some of the basic gravity-well and manual skills you demonstrated and gradually morph them into a track that'll get lots of praise. I hope you enjoyed making it, I think with a little and help and training here you could be a good Line Rider
I also second Chui - go and introduce yourself, if you like. It'd be nice to have you here!

Thanks Wishline, I messed around abit with gravity and made a few newby tracks, but didn't get very far. This was the last one I made: "Line Rider - Master Kalanda! " (on YT) it's all blue !
LOL Mr Seth, good to see you too. Contrails is still one of my all time favs.
Thanks for the support guys, if I was destined to be a LR pro I would be proud to be amongst the best:)

Even at my low skill level I can say that this track, even with some good manuals, grinds away slowly at my patience. so I give it 4/10
