Cheetah - SCG & Rafael
Once upon a time, Rafael was watching Flying and thought to himself "what would happen if me and SCG we made a collab?".
Well, the answer is this.
I can't believe how fast this collab went, I'm not sure if it counts for SCG as well but for me this collab was finished while I had the feeling we weren't even halfway done! We're both extremely proud of what we made.
We hope you enjoy Cheetah!

Hot dayumm! That was pretty dang awesome.
What I like about SCG's flings is that they are visually interesting to look at, especially when he plays around with everyframe chains. Raf, I enjoyed your parts too, you didn't even break a sweat keeping up with him

That was fantastic! Good highspeed fun. Loads of entertainment, and impressive too. Excellent job you too. I found myself grinning widely at parts.
Re: Cheetah - SCG & Rafael
I knew I loved the track after I unintentionally made a high pitched squeal, not unlike a typical twilight fangirl. That, good sirs, was bawss.

True. That. IMO he is the master of being creative with new tricks. He does more than just make them . Hard a hard time keeping up with him, but I think that's pretty obvious haha. SCG is a beast!OTDE wrote:What I like about SCG's flings is that they are visually interesting to look at, especially when he plays around with everyframe chains.
@ Opal, which part was that?
@ Inu, well, yeah that was kind of a co-product haha. It was my idea to make a flatsled loop syncing to the music and I asked SCG if he could spice it up creatively
Thanks for the comments guys!

this is awesome from the fact that it is dedicated to Chuck Norris

Starting at the integration around 1:20, reaching it's peak right after SCG's asdf loop @ 1:30.Rafael wrote:

I don't want to sound like a douche, but there is something about it that didn't make my jaw drop. sure it was pro.... but....
Re: Cheetah - SCG & Rafael
In the beginning, the flow and speed was insane, then in the middle, the flow and speed kind of went down a bit, and it became uneven at times, but at the end both the flow and speed were equally very good. I also like the variety of tricks you guys both used, you guys did an amazing job.

The key to good criticism is having the ability to define that "something".kevansevans wrote:I don't want to sound like a douche, but there is something about it that didn't make my jaw drop. sure it was pro.... but....

Darn they should have put "by Sheldon" then your jaw would have dropped.
Boss track btw.

It just didn't amaze me, that's all.
Re: Cheetah - SCG & Rafael
Okay, there's this thing that bothers me (unlike noob kevans I know what it is)
The speed is too consistant, it doesen't vary enough.
SCG always makes these uncomfortable/awkward flings that I've never really been a fan of. (Reminds me a lot about the SCG time where he made the weakest wells ever )
The stall was very "meh" and the slow part at the end there was just mediochre at best, not enough rotation to be that slow.
Other than that you had some very sweet moments in there, the hand fling/tail manual was amazing, I LOVED that part.
Overall I liked the track though, it was great.

I feel just like you My vision on tracks like these has dramatically changed over the past year, sadly. Still, good job on reaching the standard.

XD I always love watching these kind of tracks. Reminds me of hedge (the same epic-factor).

You have to be a poopbutt to not like this
And lankher, I don't know what you're smokin', but I definitely saw speed variation in there.
Seriously guys, this is the most I have enjoyed a track in months.

<_<, of course there's a reason, and I find it kind of annoying that you give negative criticism and aren't able to word it. I can take criticism, but I can't take bad criticism.kevansevans wrote:Rafael wrote:The key to good criticism is having the ability to define that "something".kevansevans wrote:I don't want to sound like a douche, but there is something about it that didn't make my jaw drop. sure it was pro.... but....

Nah I see what he means. I can imagine that, if you can't be impressed by tricks, you need other thing to spice it up and this tracks exists out of a highspeed and a slower part and not much else...Cereal wrote:You have to be a poopbutt to not like this

Re: Cheetah - SCG & Rafael
Wah wah we wah. The music syncs on some of the flings and that weird alt fling manual thing really did it for me. Don't know if they were intentional, but they turned a professionally crafted track into a modern day masterpiece.
Painlobster- Member
Re: Cheetah - SCG & Rafael
^ All the syncs were intentional of course (including the groll at 0:43 and the really long flings, but also lots of other small things) Thanks PL! Means a lot!
