Is there anyway in Vegas Pro 10 to cut out a selected part of a clip, and only that part? Like, say you recorded line rider, and you only wanted to see the line count, can you cut everything else out and only show the line count, as well as being able to move it around on screen?

I am thinking that the best way to do that is use a different type of screen recorder.

I have it where I can crop out just the top or bottom, the screen recording is fine, I just need to know how to move that cropped part around so it's not always centered.

Right click clip > pan/crop > click image and drag, add keyframes on the timeline at the bottom of the window to animate. Wink

You just use the crop tool which is one of the 3 pictures you can click on when you scroll over a clip.

Well, at least that's what you do in Vegas 8, idk about 10.

I can crop it, and cut out the section I want, but I can't move just that section, I can only move the workplace.

And Killin, It was an example, I have other uses for it >.>
