Some more archival releases
Wrapping up the archival project, doing some more archival releases from found sols.
To start us off here's Gravity Well Tricks by ZNF, our oldest track of his, recovered from linerider.13willows.com

Re: Some more archival releases
All Blue by ZNF, another super old track that I know he released as a stand-alone. With original music.

Re: Some more archival releases
A gigantic collection of early 2007 pre-Bluminator tracks by ZNF. To the best of my knowledge none of these were ever released.

Re: Some more archival releases
Here it is! A massive nearly-10-minute collection of unfinished ZNF tracks circa early 2008, including unfinished collabs with STP, Sorvius, DaPoe, LRG, and Cephyric as well as lots of classic ZNF material. Enjoy.

Re: Some more archival releases
Very cool (and at times a bit embarrassing) to see all this old stuff resurface. I recognize a lot of it, and some things even bring back some memories of when I created it. So thank you for putting so much time into recording & publishing all of my garbage/stuff! Really enjoyed the collection of stalls you put in there. I think I actually intended to do some sort of compilation of stalls at some point, but never was bothered to record it + instead decided to create Smooth Stalling (the track with the temp stalls).
Anyhow, thanks a ton and cheers everyone

Re: Some more archival releases
no problem! I have a couple more unfinished tracks from later years coming out in the next couple days, and then on to other people!
Re: Some more archival releases
An unfinished track circa 2010 (I think). I'm guessing this was between Setback and Retroceso.
EDIT: never mind, I got a bunch more sols including a further along version of the one I posted so I'm going to make another collection at some point

Re: Some more archival releases
So you know how the only trace we had of Holcomb227 was a clip from DaPoe's Top 25 video, and the naked track of Make Believe?
NOT ANYMORE
Here are three Holcomb tracks I recovered through the archival project:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qt-hMx_TTRs&list=PLoKj2krkU6XfTEywsxiW0tEZc0hvUbQN8
Sad that we weren't able to recover any of his more well known tracks, but hey, it's still good to recover something. DaPoe must have downloaded them for his video but nobody's seen him in years and I doubt he kept them, and Chih archived him but then lost the external HD his archive was on

Anyone up for 5 minutes of never-before-seen quality 2008-2010 quirk from Ride Liner?

Re: Some more archival releases
I know people have gotten it to play on their computers because I know shotoku was planning to scene it at one point, and obviously kramwood recorded it. But neither shotoku nor kramwood are around for a chat.
EDIT: oh right here's the sol I have https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/88470717/Multiverse%20%5Bbroken%5D.sol
EDIT2: Never mind, found another sol that works, and is apparently 6.0 physics? That's bizarre but okay haha

Hey all, this is a collab with ZNF from 2010, he made a part, someone else made a part, and ZNF made another part. Anyone know who made the middle part? ZNF has no idea

Re: Some more archival releases
10 minutes of unreleased TechDawg material in an archival release. Most of it's unscened, so don't get too excited, but it's still pretty cool to release a bunch of never-before-seen TechDawg tracks. Some of these are so old that they only run in the versions they were made in.

Same. These are both interesting from a historical perspective and fun to watch.

Chaoz Japan, a really old Kramwood track (the oldest we have I believe) that I recorded while we were still on the old IRTL. Don't have the original sol file but threw the recordings into a video.

Digging through Kramwood's old posts and found a dailymotion link, which led me to finding a 2010 track by Kramwood uploaded to said dailymotion channel.

"Cold" by Kramwood. I do know this was released because he mentioned it here: https://iridethelines.forumotion.com/t8949-turn-of-tides-kw
But I have no other information about it. Since Kramwood's music choice and editing varied dramatically and I have no idea what either were, I just uploaded a raw recording of it.

Re: Some more archival releases
Thanks to this bit of his rant in the High Notions 2 feature discussion thread I was able to throw together an edit of his track "Dancer" with original music.Kramwood wrote:I have had tracks put up for nomination to be featured, but because of the music was part of the whole video, and the video is what we are judging. A good example of this would be my track “Dancer”. Every time I see this track by itself I think it’s better than IRIS. There are more consistent tricks, the compact and slower sections were better AND it actually was music synced to Caramell Dancing. The last difference would be that there aren’t any kramuals in it, but for some reason the video’s feature was denied with the only excuse being that people couldn’t stand the song.

Re: Some more archival releases
Absox is most famous for Vindication, his collab with Ceph, and his scenery track Shadows and Light. His YouTube is nowhere to be found, but bilbiOly's collection of sols had a zip of a bunch of his stuff, and from that I put together this collection.

Re: Some more archival releases
This one's definitely worth a watch: ZNF, the later tracks (2009-2015)
includes a track from 2010 that was practically a full-fledged collab, but ZNF doesn't know who collaborated with him on it. Let me know if you know!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iA-AL0bMVF0&index=1&list=PLoKj2krkU6XfTEywsxiW0tEZc0hvUbQN8
we have one more ZNF track coming (the one he previewed last year which is full length and music synced but unfinished) and then this thread will stop being mostly about him (He just made so much material, and and so much of it was lost or unreleased, and so much was recovered! Not to mention he was almost certainly the most influential rider of all time after TechDawg)

Re: Some more archival releases
I'm really curious how his style would have developed had he continued to be active from 2011 to 2015, theres certainly nothing like it these days.
These archives are great, thanks for doing them!
