Re: Catgroove by Lukking

That fakie lilypadding
That all blue integration
That all X foot shoulder granual thingy
That super well done compact section
That music syncing
That drop into highspeed
That quirk
That end animation into slowdown
That long track that didn't get repetitive at all
That Parov Stelar and DJ Shadow
I give this track a 1 /1

How do you have so much control over bosh? howww that was amazing and incredible and other words
Re: Catgroove by Lukking
That blew all of my expectations out the water. Maybe it wasn't as technically impressive as Origin, but I love that you tried to do new stuff. It paid off really well Personally, I enjoyed the quirk sections more than the manuals/flatsled/sync, because it felt like you had put more time in them. Overall an awesome experience that I didn't expect of you. Shows how versatile you are!
PS: I still think Origin is your masterpiece

Holy excrement, this is amazing. I think my jaw dented the floor beneath it.
This might expose my ignorance of what is technically impressive, but that drop before the highspeed part, where it feels like Bosh is "playing" with the line (in synch with the music), was one of the most entertaining moments I've witnessed in a naked Line Rider track.
And then, of course, as if only to damage my floor even further, it was all blue.
This was beyond fantastic, Lukking! Definitely one of my favorite naked LR tracks, and by far the most entertaining one I've seen in years. Bravo!

LRG summed up pretty well the feeling I have when I was watching your track ! It was simply amazing ! Really. The synchronisation with the music is awesome and it's really entertaining to watch it.
I prefer this track to Origin, even if the beginning was a little bit slow. And all the tricks you've made were just unbelievable! Congratulation bro'

Re: Catgroove by Lukking
At first I was like what's with the Votale/Pure music.. I was expecting that old Lukking style dnb/pendulum shit.
Then I was like what the hell I havent seen a track from you in like 8 years and you're way better than me. It was crazy cool to see direct inspirations from a lot of our recent tracks!
I think that the "slow start" that yobanjo was getting at made the experience that much better for me. I thought it was going to be rusty the whole way through but then it caught me off guard when shit got real turnt up.
Not going to lie, I was never really a fan of the old trademarked "Lukking" style. Seeing you go crazy and do all this creative stuff was aweeeeeesome!

That was incredible! Favourite moment is the 2nd position feet thingy on 1:29. My first thought after watching this track is "Lukking's grown up". In here you showed me a vision that you haven't shown before. At the start I was like "wait, am I watching pure?" Not just because of the music, your moves were incredibly funky, but they also contained the energy of good old Lukking. The sections were all synced really on point and I think you did excellent on choosing styles per section, the transitions all felt natural and that's rare, kudos on that. I really liked how you filled in the drop, very creative. I think the biggest plus of this entire track is that it looked like it was an absolute thrill to make. This track screams fun while having the magnitude of a masterpiece.
Still, I like Origin better (must be a Dutch thing, lol). The main reason being that I really missed the intensity you normally have. The section at 1:29 was close but nowhere near Origin. Try to incorporate that stuff, the new stacking that's available and your talent, and I'm sure you'll be making groundbreaking stuff soon.

I actually rewatched origin several times. As hedge said in the commentary marathon, i was using the camera well. The whole track was more zoomed in and if you compare both quirk parts in cat to origin, both are at least the same power lvl. I also think that something went wrong while i adjusted the speed. it feels a little slower than it actually is.
The track wasn't made to show power or technique since thats what you guys have been reducing me to. i wanted to show that i can not only stack some wells but be creative.

Sorry, wrong wording. Origin is more intense than this track is, partly of the music choice and zoom. Still, I love intense stuffLukking wrote:Rafael wrote: Still, I like Origin better (must be a Dutch thing, lol). The main reason being that I really missed the power and tempo you normally have here. There were so many memorable moments in that! That's the hard part about technical tracks, the whole idea that "everything's been done", but obviously you showed that attitude a thing or two
but Cereal and Sum already used this song but whatevs
