Re: Wow
rabid! =D
Yup, that's me! Believe it or not, I still think about that from time to time, and whether or not if I should ever set aside some time to finally do it.
Realistically though, I never had a chance, and I was kidding myself the entire time. Techdawg and Sorvius were way outta my league, as well as oldies like blesshiscottonsocks and lineridergjert. I was just a mighty dreamer with a big mouth, haha.
I pretty much haven't made a Line Rider track since I deleted my YouTube channel in early 2010. Can't believe that was six years ago...

Re: Wow
Can't say I recognize your name, but if you deleted your account in 2010, that's about when I started up, so yeah. Still kicking though, and very much enjoying it.

I started playing line rider in 2006, started releasing tracks in 2007, and made the big track announcement in 2008. Haha, back when I joined techdawg was still the admin and there used to be a whole arcade section and all that. For some reason I also remember LineRiderGjert "inventing" the head manual. I also remember the legendary Silk Road, ktk's giant 400-line nose fling, Sorvius announcing a 1 million-line track, and bhcs making those ridiculously detailed tracks. This might seem like gibberish to you, but rabid might remember.
I'm actually making a line rider track as I type this post. I made a nose fling that loops itself. Can't believe I still have it in me...

Re: Wow
I am the resident line rider history buff so I will remember everything lol
- namtlade actually invented the head manual before LRG was around
- nose fling was in "Chi"
- Sorvius's million line track was going to be Manual Mayhem Annihilation but he never finished more than about 10% or so of it
- later he did release Manual Mayhem Supernatural though which had close to 700,000 lines
- BHCS's tracks you're probably remembering are Evolution and Metamorphic
Hope you stick around. I encourage you to try out the alpha of Line Rider Advanced. You can make the same stuff but there are tools that will speed up the workflow amazingly.

Re: Wow
Yes, exactly! Legendary tracks, haha. My favorite will always be Monumental by TD. That guy was a genius, I swear.
I've already started using the new Line Rider and I'm blown away. It's sure making my flings easier to figure out!
I'll probably check back here in the next few days. Nice seeing you!
