Gems from a lost art... Empty Gems from a lost art...

Hey all, here are some rare gems (maybe) from Line Rider's past:

Line Rider v6.7
This one may be rather common these days but it's a more stable and updated version of Beta 6.2.  Some more notable features are line counters for all 3 line types and counters for FPS, distance from start point, and my favorite, a timer that tells you how long your track has been running so you can time things.

10g version
Here's a fun hack (credit citation needed) for 6.2 that had just one change done to it.  Gravity is 10x normal.  Have fun making tracks with this one as you descend as mach 10 right from the start!

Line Rider AS3 (alpha)
This one has a little more meat to it.  This might exist in its full form now, but this version is an early alpha of Line Rider written by mhenr18 in Action Script 3 (hence the AS3).  WARNING:  VERY BUGGY, CRASHES AND CORRUPTIONS ARE A GUARANTEE.  But its still fun to have this as part of the collection (if it isn't already). ***Requires Adobe Air to run***

I made a list of versions that has all of these:
https://iridethelines.forumotion.com/t6050-full-list-of-versions-of-line-rider
It's a bit outdated which is why it isn't stickied anymore.

I recommend reading the sticky at the top of this section, Meet the Developers:
https://iridethelines.forumotion.com/t11401-meet-the-developers
It has a lot of information on what is happing today in the world of versions.

TL;DR version: 6.7 was eventually replaced by 6.X, then 6.Y, then 3.4, then 3.4.x, and now LRA looks to be replacing that as the official site version soon.

LR AS3 was never finished. There was a contest with the 10g version but it hasn't really been used in years.

I only have one question. Is there a SA version that doesn't freeze/crash xD

3.4.X (the latest flash version) has a lot more fixes for corruptions and the like, and also a built in autosave feature for when it crashes. (saves every x number of lines or every x number of minutes)

LRA is an EXE version but it does crash for some people. Usually when it crashes it saves a crash backup progress file right before it does though. It has way less lag though (I can play 30k lines at 30fps versus the usual 5fps in beta 2), and when it does lag it drops frames instead of slow down which means it just looks slightly choppier. Really nice.

LRJS (entirely javascript) has had basically zero crash reports but you have to play in the browser, so sometimes you can accidentally close the page or something, and there isn't an autosave feature. It also has way reduced lag but when it lags it slows down instead of dropping frames.

All this information and more is around in this section if you look for it.

So far LRA is taking the trophy, although sometimes I feel like I'm cheating xD
