I would like to request a timer that's view able in editing playback. I noticed every flag has a time stamp so I know it's keeping up with it. It would help a lot with music syncing.

FEATURES WISHLIST (consider this my actually constrictive feedback).

1) Line Type Editing, meaning you can change blue to red and reverse the direction of red, maybe even duplicate the line to get lineboosted effect? (all of this is in 3.4, although perhaps add a way to do it with the line adjust tool instead of eraser)

2) Custom key bindings, or at least a legacy control scheme (meaning backspace = undo especially), and to be honest I think using the right mouse button for panning the track is long overdue and now finally possible, I would like that added. (also it's annoying the space bar functions depending if I'm in edit mode or just paused in playback, at least change that soon). Custom key bindings can just read from your cfg file for now I think if you don't want to develop a new UI element.

3) When paused, get the ability to move the camera further from Bosh, especially needed for high speed tracks.

4) Not as important but something I thought would be cool, would be the ability to set a camera control script where the camera can center on specific parts of the track without panning, then go back to Bosh later, and/or just have zoom level change automatically throughout playback.

Also your readme says the game can decode flac, but I tried a flac file once and got this error.txt (I can't remember what I was using but I encode my own flacs so they should all be pretty much the same if you need one to test, I tried another and same result):

Next version will probably be pretty big, at least from a backend perspective. We'll see. It might be a while though.

I just downloaded and tried this and it's AMAZING.

As a windows user I didn't need to install anything or do anything. I just put my .sol in the tracks folders and put a song in the songs folder, opened Line Rider Advanced and voila. Everything is working!

I have to say it'll be a little getting used to the controls for me, because like everyone else I'm very used to play in a certain way (slowmo toggle being m, backspace being undo), but I can't say thank you enough for the possibility of the music sync option.

Even if I won't play in this right away, I can use it to load my .sol + a song and check if the music fits, without needing to record the track and everything is so SMOOTH. God-damn it's smooth. 60fps?! It's never even dropping below 50 for me. It's just crazy consistent, even for very high line counts I tried and it's just so perfectly smooth. Amazing Amazing Amazing.

As Barney would say:
Awesomawesomawesomawesomawesomawesomawesomawesomawesomawesomawesomawesomawesomawesomawesomawesomawesome AWESOME!!!!

suggestions from my fun-but-slightly-frustrating playtesting

it would be very helpful when making line adjustments to A: adjust bosh's opacity so I don't have to guess where the lines are under him and B: detach the camera from bosh in the editor so I'm not disoriented every time I make a change to the lines

great work ^_^

EDIT: if you have hit test enabled and are using the line adjustment tool, the line still registers a "hit" even if that line no longer affects bosh-- it will only readjust once you play from the start or to a point before the section affected, fyi

Major changes in 1.3:

m key slowmo
backspace delete last line
optimized sol loading a little
playback time in top right corner
trk files dont need a number in front of them and can be alone in the /tracks folder now.
hit test updates now if the track is modified
shift+I creates all frames before a flag if it is valid.

Major bug, repeatable:
Saving a new track with the name starting in a full stop, trying to delete said track in-game results in wiping the entire tracks folder.

Would love to have a night mode (dark gray background, white rider and UI) feature in the options if possible. Looking at a mostly white screen all day is painful :c

I am not able to load up any songs. This goes for both 1.2 and 1.3. I can select songs, enable them and apply full max volume, but nothing can be heard. in 1.2 i got this error

no error in 1.3, just plain silence

Yeah, I found out the hard way. Fortunately I'm pretty new here so I only lost around a minute of alt quirk, and a collab thing (which wasn't my turn to update when it happened) so it's better that it happened to me rather than someone else. All good. :3

A 5 minute song Shocked

Good lord please don't overexert yourself. The last thing we need is our new members burning themselves out.
I'd get angry at everyone who makes big synced tracks for starting a trend but I'm 400% guilty of the same thing :P

I blame myself for making Smile, although technically Multiverse was released before mine (albeit Unfinished)

Although, iirc the full version of KW's Multiverse was a day or two after Smile, so I guess it was just timing that I was the first to release a huge track in 2013 and start the trend (other tracks from that time that were released after Smile: Eden 2, Handlebars, Well-Tempered Manual, Gone, Phunner, etc.)

If anyone can pick out a track released relatively close to Smile that was over 3 minutes long to make me feel less guilty, I'd appreciate it. The only thing I can think of is Jam, but that was about a year before Smile so I don't think it fits the bill so well in this case.

Also kind of funny note, there haven't been very many long tracks since AFTER 2013, and I closed out the year with Angel in the last week or so of 2013, haha, so I kind of personally feel like I started a trend then killed it
