Why dont we create a mobile version of 3.4.X?

Post by Lukking on Sat May 23, 2015 12:03 pm

Games like Droid rider https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.linerider
or Line Ride https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blurealms.lineride

Have been downloaded hundreds of thousands of times. So did the Free rider crap where you can conrol your rider. Why dont we transfer what we have into a LR copy (because we dont have the license) and sell it on the chrome store or mobile device stores?
If we try to make a mobile version, we loose percision of course but i doubt its that hard to make.
Now
I cant create an app but im sure somebody here can (conun?) and if we get it done i think we or the owner has to sell it in some way. That does not have to be actual money, but facebook likes or some other social media sh** that gives us more attention.

Just wanted to leave the idea here Very Happy

This is planned. But first, JS in the web browser. And getting the rights.
When the time comes, we should also have a discussion on the potential for monetization. I'm not interested in profit, but the server isn't going to fund itself.

Ok now im super excited ^^
Yeah the server needs to be paid and i would be willing to pay some money monthly to pay for all that and im sure others are too.

The server shouldn't require a massive fund..the veterans over here (who I believe will become an elitist, select group) could all pitch in and it be like 20 bucks a month for total anyway so....

That's what the fantastic contraption founder guy did, he asked people on the community forum to pitch in, the cost was only about $50/month and they covered it pretty easily

I pitched in for a while when I admin'd at a game which is now dead to help keep the server up. I even moved it to my Gamecube at one point.
