For how long the whole thing was, I'm surprised at how consistently enjoyable you kept the thing. It was a very nice watch.

AMAZING.  Everything from the casual stop-n-go in the beginning, to the sweet manual build-up, to the high speed manuquirk section--everything was fantastic!  I loved it so much and am glad to have been such a huge inspiration to you Very Happy Your track making style has truly blossomed.  You're the greatest, and I love this track!!! (already watched it 2 times.., even with the length :P)

This is by far one of the most solid tracks I can recall ever made. The amount of sheer variation and unpredictability you maintained in a six-minute (!) track is incredible, and a good chunk of it was very technically impressive as well. Some of that quirk was legit juicy  :P

Incredible job Shotoku, I'm so happy I was able to help you through this colossal endeavour, especially seeing how amazingly it turned out. I wouldn't hesitate to call this track legendary.

aanyways I really liked it, especially how good all of it was, despite the length. Only possible thanks to the flag being saved, maybe? I also really liked the airtime and pauses in the quirk part of the track.

I really have respect for the fact you've dedicated yourself so much to one track. That fact was present very vividly throughout the track. I really sensed a major improvement the moment the track went faster in terms of using the music to create a memorable moment. It took a while to get used to the song but towards the end the whole thing started to grow on me more and more Smile Amazing job Shotoku!

hey could you put this and your other vids on youtube for playlist purposes? :P

I'm bumping this because 1) you asked for an in depth review and I will give it, but I have just watched about 50 tracks and am going a little stir-crazy so I will come back to it after a bit.

But just for now, I am incredibly impressed that you made an a 6 minute all-blue omnitrack. Like, what? If at any point in the history of line rider someone told me they were going to make a 6 minute all-blue omnitrack, I would have had a conversation with them about biting off more than they could chew. It's really amazing that you managed to finish this, and that you pulled it off so well. Okay. in depth review later.

I'm probs going to re-edit, because I had to do that in Linux where there's not a good video editor at all for some reason. Also going to change the ending a bit, because that has been bugging me for awhile. I was really rushing myself towards the end because I was getting tired of working on it, but now I think I can do much better

okay I am bumping this again

I really hope you re-edit it and post it somewhere because the artificial zoom for the first half sucks and that's all I can think about for the first minute.

Initial thoughts on the second time watching it straight through:
- This track is an incredibly slow burn. More so than any track ever. Hell, this track runs for 4 and a half freaking minutes before it picks up. That's insane! That means it runs for longer than any (standard srs) track BEFORE it picks up! whaaaaat?
- It is absolutely crazy that this is all blue, because of how much variety there is and how many manuals and non-quirk there is.
- This track is so slow for so long that unfortunately I can't count it as a plus. It goes for four minutes without ever hinting that this is anything more than a slow, chill, not-much-to-speak-of compact track. The first time I watched this, I thought that was what it was, and I didn't realize how long it was until it was about 60% through.
- However, I have to give you credit for having what is easily the most understated release of all time. The music, the editing, the post - nothing points to the fact that the track is a friggin 7.5 minute EPIC MASTERPIECE. Even after watching it all the way through twice, I still feel like I don't fully appreciate how immense this project was. Which is in and of itself impressive. I'm amazed you didn't get disheartened by the vaguely positive reception of the track and ragequit, haha. The way you presented it almost felt like "hey this is a cool track I made this week, enjoy"

Okay now I'm gonna go through piece by piece.
- the first minute of the track (what the shit how does that minute sneak by so quickly) though significantly less busy than the average quirk, is noticeably busier than the music. Which, unfortunately, gives it a vibe of a mediocre quirk with poorly-chosen music.
- that said, the same minute has some brilliant, chill, stop'n'go quirk, that is pretty damn unique, as it turns out. obviously inspired by pure, but significantly slower. And some of the stuff in there is actually quite good trickwise. At least it seems that way to my unquirky eyes. I'm also impressed with the creativity. and that continues through the next minute of track. I especially like 1:34 - 2:04. It really gets better as it goes, which seems to fit nicely with the music.
- This whole section looks like something that most trackmakers would have made, said to themselves "eh I can do better" and released in a garbage collection. Props to you for turning it into this massive thing.
- under normal circumstances, I'd say the XY is slow and mediocre, but in this track, it fits perfectly. Perfect example of how flow doesn't mean less airtime, haha. I especially like the bit at 2:46 where he "falls" as well as the next 30-40 seconds following it.
- don't particularly like the upward pinch or the bit right after it because when it stays XY it feels like it went nowhere, but I like it when it picks back up at the 4 minute mark.
- 45degree section was well planned with the music, but it felt kind of dead compared with the sudden activity of the music
- 4:45 is when you start to realize that you didn't give this track enough credit at the start and it's actually quite long and huge and wait I should probably have paid more attention
- I love 4:50
- I love the sync with the drawn title of the track at 5:00 (what the hell 5 minutes?) and the stuff right after it. super cool.
- I'm amazed that all these manuals are all blue. and those granuals! wow. 5:15 is super impressive.
- love the roll at 5:24. h4m much?
- love the cereal esque chill-but-fast moments like at 5:33
- 5:43 is an awesome example of how you have the power, it's there, and you use it only every once in a while for a kick of energy. Really well done.
- 5:46 I didn't realize this was a frame nose lily until the fifth time I watched it haha. and then you did it on the tail at 5:48. Dunno if that's ever been done before, actually. Especially since it's all blue.
- the 6:20 area is awesome because it shows that the start wasn't just you sucking because it's old - it shows that it was PLANNED. That's something I don't see often.
- I don't know what you don't like about the ending because personally I like it. the flatline on the silence and then the end on the music starting again... It works in my mind.

Okay in conclusion, there is a lot more here than you will see on the first watch, or even the second or third. I'm glad you asked me to review this because hopefully more people will actually watch the track thoroughly now that there's a big ass review up in this joint. It's a pity that everything this track is works against it (slow burn, understated, humble, long, chill) but it really is a masterpiece and it really does deserve enormous praise.

So, my advice for anyone reading this is watch this track again and pay close attention despite the chill music and long length because it's really something you've never seen before, anywhere, from anyone. Spend some time with it.

I tried 3 different things and can't get the black bars on the top and bottom to go away, but I fixed everything else and would appreciate it if some people watched it again to get a better second impression of it.

Removed flashing black bar on the sides.
Made the background actually white instead of yellow.
Not blurry when zoomed in.
Readable intro.
No timeshifting due to having a better recording.
Removed color playback and credits because they made the video obnoxiously long.
