What I think would work;

Ktk posts thread, everyone gets to PM ktk one PM, ktk checks who was right, you get +1 (or not). Every week everyone can earn +1 (for a scorelist) and the person that's on top of the list can call himself something cool that we have to think up.

Everyone gets to PM Ktk, Ktk will who got it right first. And the one who
gets it right first gets +rep, then a mod bans him/her for a day so he/she

great idea, but no KING or O2, or something huge, have some random tiny tracks too. That way it is harder.

No one really posts anything, you just PM your answer. The new videopart will just be posted in a new topic somewhere every week a new topic (or maybe one topic and everyweek a new post, but then no one can post anything otherwise it will become chaos). The thread(s) should be in Engaged Riding I think.

darn forumotion won't let me change any PM box space, but they auto-prune when they get to the limit, you don't need to worry about them filling up

Actually, if I take the right clips from them, I think you guys might have a hard time figuring them out. There are the iconic moments and the fillers in every track. Of course I won't just have fillers though. And i'll ask owner's permission before choosing a track from them. They get a point automatically for letting me "rip" their track.

Just a WRTL preference, would you rather have me post this as a youtube, photobucket, what?

Since I can change the name of my own thread, I don't have to make a new topic. No more copypasting posts, and I can set up a simple template to replace points and videos. I'll bump every time I post the new vid. If people want to, they should be able to bump the thread as well, hm? =p

Maybe post a small clip of a track, maybe 2 seconds...
Maybe a high-reconizable place, maybe a not-so-easy-reconizable place.

I support ZNF's idea as well, i thought of it myself when i was reading the previous posts...

Also, Rabid, can't you make ktk Elite + WITLR-host and then give the latter group more PM box space so that ktk has more space. Auto-pruning is not that helpful as 25 people might enter and then ktk might miss a PM without anyone knowing.

I think we should just do pictures of them, not video clips. I could probably figure out most of them if I had some time, and it'd be easier to make the main post.

Also, maybe Ktk shouldn't run the whole thing, maybe just elites+, and we can have a thread in the lounge that has which tracks are used so the same one isn't used over and over.
In fact, even better, with vB, we could make a guessing option that sends stuff to a subforum of the elite lounge, like reported posts sent stuff to the team center on the old IRtL.

One person running a contest every (whatever amount of time) is a recipe for disaster IMO.

^ believe me, saying "ya all you elites, you run it" is a recipe for disaster. Let Ktk run it and then someone else can take over if he needs them to.

And why screenshots? video clips are way more fun. Just make sure you mute them or put them to different music.

I could have both, actually. The flexibility of the contest is great. I could have a picture (for scenery, along with the video clip) as well as a video and the overall picture of the track (Of course for naked tracks this isn't really helpful unless it's HEDGE'S DRAGON DINOSAUR FROM VISION or something :|

It's only once a week, but if I need it, I'll ask for help.. >.> Recording youtube videos isn't very hard as we know.
